@@jupitersworld244 That's right, things are staged and outcomes are pre-determined in wrestling but they still take serious hits and their bodies take real punishment. When a 300-lb guy jumps on you or body-slams you, it's going to hurt even if you're also 300 lbs. A lot of them retire with drug problems because they were self-medicating injuries and they had doctors literally throwing pain-killers at them. That's what happened to Chynna and it's not unusual. When getting out of bed the morning after a wrestling event is a new adventure in pain and you have a literal bottle of pills on the nightstand that the team doctor gave you, you're not going to take any? Hi Some friendly advice, your sound is suffering from plosives. The pop filter you are using does not work the way you have it set up. It needs to be a few inches (2-4) away from the mic and you need to be 2-8 inches away fro the pop filter for it to reduce the plosives. Sitting on the mic it does nothing. Try ditching the pop filter and move the mic away from you. Try it on a boom in front and above you just out of frame and turn the Mic Pre amp up. Or in front and below you just out of frame and turn up the pre amp. Or if you want to see the mic for aesthetic reasons move it 10 -12 inches in front of you and slightly down and then try the pop filter as described above, you will hear a great improvement in your sound. A good mic pre amp and compressor really help too!

So, just to make this perfectly clear here. She is saying that either the drs who did the prefight physical missed all the warning signs of a concussion or they let her fight anyway also that her coaches didnt know/let her fight anyway. That the ufc/ whichever state commision she was under for those fights let her fight with an inadequate mouthguard and also supposedly a torn acl? We are expected to believe that every single safety precaution was thrown out the window to let her fight Holly. I know concussion protocalls were basically non existant at the time but if she was as damaged going into that fight as she says she was then her team clearly didnt give a damn about her and thats what she should be upset about. Obviously, none of her excuses are real. that's what she tells herself to make herself feel better.

Royce got passed by. Got his ass kicked by Hughes. It didn't hurt his legacy. She could've been held in similar regard. But she said herself, if she's not undefeated and known as the best ever, she has nothing. That was her perception, and she willed it into existence. She's nothing now. She just couldn't let go of the chip on her shoulder. What drove her to become champ is the same thing that drove her to throw away any goodwill she had accumulated.

You are correct about treatment of others especially service people and people who can do nothing for you. If I go to dinner with someone that is rude to a server I will never go around them again. It shows an irredeemable quality that is a flaw at the core of their person. I am polite, treat them like a friend and say thank you every time they fill my drink or do anything. Even fast food drive through people. I am amazed how shitty people treat others.

You are not slipping on your socks, tearing your knee, and knocking yourself without doing it face-first. You are not falling face-first down the stairs, tearing your knee, and knocking yourself out without bashing your face up in the process. You are not hiding a bashed up face.

Ronda was kinda famous for least amount of ring fight time over total record lol... Her fights were only lasting under a minute to a minute or two. I'm not hating on her at all, she was a legit badass for the female division, and she earned it. I think it's the making excuses tour that is blowing up at her

She’s hardly a victim. She was a pre Madonna that had her day but the game caught up with her because she wasn’t either good enough to evolve or , or too delusional to realize she didn’t need to. And she had less than 20 fights. That’s not exactly a dynasty. Had she been a dude, she’d been just another guy that had a really good run at the top level that eventually got knocked down by someone else. Reacting the way she did was totally bizarre. The history of MMA up to that point was written by warriors who gave their soul time after time to the fight game. They won some and lost some but it was with the same character that made the fan love and respect them. She didn’t have that in her and that’s all there is to it.

Sergio Kindle (UoTexas LB, 1st Rd Draft Pick for Ravens) fell on the stairs, had a seizure, and suffered neurological damage. It’s happened that one time, at least, to a world-class athlete.

Fighters learned her game and adjusted appropriately. Can't get mad if she didnt evolve as well. She lost twice and ran. How many great fighters have more than 2 losses in their records? Almost all....

One thing about Rousey is she never expected to have her "head kicked off." Listen to her interviews while she was on top. She honestly thought she would have a full MMA career and never lose. Besides that, I'm sure she did think she would be the lone exception by not having her downfall cheered by a significant number of people.

I thought the exact same thing right before you said it, that she's seriously faking trying to sound like she can't talk clearly because of head trauma. It's kinda funny how she only talks like that when she's making these claims, but then it magically goes away when she's cutting a promo in a wrestling ring or doing any other kind of interview

I think Ronda sees herself on the Micheal Jordan, Wayne Gretski, Mike Tyson level of fame and success. I think thats why she feels every one turned on her. She had a faulse sense of how famous she actually was.

What is sad is when Rhonda came to WWE, I wanted to give her a shot. I mean, WWE allowed her to surpass developmental and go straight to the top but with the women's division full of very talented women she drowned and promos and in ring ability were horrible. Then when the fans didn't connect with her and booed her everytime she came out she got upset and blamed the fans for how bad she was. UFC she was great for her time in a new getting its footing women's division but when they started to get more talented women Rhonda choked and ran... now she is a female version of Ryback and blames everyone else but her own self. She could've just taken a more humble approach and lose gracefully and get better in the ring and mic for WWE embrace the fan boos and be a heel. Nope!

On the mouthpiece, it reminds of a story Bobby Robson told about Paul Gascoigne stressing out at the 1990 World Cup because his shorts were too tight so Robson took them and asked the kit man to put them in a plastic bag and bring them back to Gascoigne. Gascoigne was then perfectly happy with the same pair of shorts. I think it's just how some top athletes process their feelings when they're up against a sterner test than they're used to.

Ronda’s interviews confirms that she quit on herself as an MMA fighter after losing to Holm in such devastating fashion. She was clueless about her striking ability and her coach fed her to some wolves. Ronda lost her soul in that Holm knockout and fought Nunez with only pure ego and got obliterated.

Jesse, I agree 💯 You can usually tell with a relatively high degree of accuracy the quality of a person by the manner in which they treat people in service jobs, ie; waiter, gas pump attendant, the Dunkin' drive-thru lady, etc. Also, if they're always looking for "reasons"🙄 why the waitress doesn't deserve a tip/they don't tip or instead tip a pile of pennies as an insult, they're usually not a great person to be around and are very unhappy... This parallels with the Ronda Rousey situation. You can see she's unhappy with HERSELF and probably has some issues, she projected that unhappiness onto those who presented her brand to the world because she probably thought she deserved the royal treatment. Then, when her star took a lil hit, she crumbled under the pressure, ran away and blamed everyone but the one responsible... I saw it coming with her a few fights away when she was too cocky to touch gloves. It's sad really, because I loved watching her fight. Imagine the comeback she could've had! ALWAYS be graceful but especially to those people you pass on the way up cuz they'll probably be there on your way down and the truth will come out. Eventually... I hope she finds that inner peace she's looking for... God bless, (I wanna say "see you at the top!"😂🤣)
