Wonderful message again, Pastor Jack! I grew up in a Roman Catholic family and my father really loved God, he was a very kind, forgiving and gentle man and I am grateful for the ‘picture’ of our Heavenly Father he left me. He also never spoke badly about others and was very generous, always trusting God would provide for our family’s needs. My husband and I moved to New Zealand in 1980 where we became believers in 1987. Sadly my Dad had died of a heart attack 3 years before, so I was not able to share the real Gospel with him. But when I had to sort through his desk after my Mum also died I found booklets by Dr A Wilder-Smith, who was an evangelical Creationist and Dad had attended meetings of a group of Christian businessmen he founded. So, who knows, I may see him again? I sure hope so!

Oh, Pastor Jack! Thank you! For several months, alone in the midst of the greatest trial of my 71 year life, I’ve been communing with my heavenly ABBA, with all reverence, as Daddy. He seems SO close and assuages my abandonment issues re- my earthly father. I like ‘PAPA’ very much also.

Great message! Ftr I love it when a man opens a door for me! To me it’s a sign of respect and good manners, not a message that I’m incapable of opening doors for myself! I taught my boys to open doors for girls/women, and my older son has married a lovely woman, who appreciates the fact that he treats her like a queen. My youngest son is just 8 years old, but he opens doors for me, without me even asking him to. It touches me, everytime! 🥰

As a young child I remember the nightly family devotions. They were short, daddy would read a few verses and say a prayer asking for our protection. In the summer this was after the had worked from sun up until sun down. Later I realized they were short because he was so tired. We went to church on Sunday and Wednesday night so we only did devotions 5 nights a week. I lost my dad 37 years ago and I still can see him with that old bible in his hand.

Thank you pastor Jack. My husband and I don't have earthly fathers. My Mom says he "donated his sperm. " I'm trying to bring him to Jesus anyway if everyone can please pray for a PhD geologist who is brain washed and cold maybe God will open his eyes.

Christian men as described by Bible hard to come across in current days mainly as responsibilities of men or real role is hardly spoken of from church pulpits. Men are told they are the head without explaining to, encouraging or guiding men regarding the responsibility that comes with being head. It doesn't mean bullying all in home and church and society with no self responsibility or control. The preachings from pulpit and society is all about women. All sin attributed to women. Amazing. But thank you pastor Jack you are different from general pastors preachers. Thank you for speaking as God intended it. GOD BLESS!

Does that mean that women shouldn't wear trousers or jackets shirts etc ??? Is that disobedience to God's word...
@Sir_Viver5 жыл бұрын
A man shouldn't wear women's clothing. A woman shouldn't wear men's clothing. That is pretty plain. What is NOT plain (at least in today's culture) is what defines men's/women's clothing, and IF there is overlap. I would like to hear a message on that.

Please men can understand don't make excuse wired differently. The men in past generation didn't seem to have these issues. This type of speech we don't care we have no emotions are not true cos if men are also image of God then what you say is a wrong message to men. It is all about choices. God bless!
