Well, Wels did invite you to take refuge in his base should you ever need to. So it sounds like you need to move in. Set up a little bedroom in one of his guard towers, maybe? Hang out there, play music discs, maybe set off some fireworks? Hang banners out the window, set up your stuff on the balcony, maybe put up a laundry line?

Ok hear me out... DO NOT RETALIATE! JOIN HIM! Wels seems to have a Skyrim Thieves Guild Cove thing going on for his storage room, embrace that fact and start a secret Thieves Guild on the server. A group who goes around pulling funny pranks and maybe jokingly moves things from one place to another. Don't take this as something that needs to be fought against, turn it into something he can't fight and must join.

Use turtle eggs and mob vision occlusion like Impulse and Tango did for their wither farm last season to attract undead mobs into his base. Maybe nether mobs through a portal in the tunnel. That way the mobs only cycle through the portal when someone is in the nether making it kinda random when zombie pigmen come through.

Personally, I wouldn't do anything "destructive", but I'd probably sneak into his base every so often and just start changing random blocks to different material. See how long it takes him to notice.

You should definitely prank Wels, but DO KEEP THE TUNNEL -- it's cool! Just adjust your storage room a bit if you need it to be symmetric. And definitely start using Wels's storage! He made it so what's his is yours, after all. You could turn his base's roofs into copper, to match yours. He's already started merging your bases, so making them match in more ways is the next logical step, right?

If you extend the tunnel to where your staircase is, you could make a spiral/banister staircase from the main floor to the storage room to the tunnel. It could actually look pretty good & it would hide the fact that both staircases are slightly off center!

If you're OK with a non full block as a marker you could use a Cauldron with water as a marker block for your potions collections. It's a little better in my opinion than simply using a brewing stand simply because it's only like 10% of a full block where a cauldron looks more like a full block.

Gourd, Wels looked so silly yet ominous when you went down into the tunnel! A glowing blue figure in this red and black tunnel that suddenly opened up in your modern whitewall house, that leads to a cavernous damp storage room under a medieval castle... Reminds me a little of that Doom map, MyHouse.wad, but of course the hermits bring this creepypasta-esque concept right back into sillytown. This is so fun :D

It could be a dislocated thing. It appears two are neighbors through proximity. The villa compound could be distant and made of local resources until partnerships come through which brings distinctions. Not necessarily modern. The tunnel metaphorically indicates ALLIED.

You happen to have tons of turtles, and there's an open tunnel between your and wels bases. As we know Turtles are a defensive species so they would naturally follow the tunnel into the safe fortress at the other end. You could hardly be blamed for the outcome caused by the tunnel being built and turtles following their natural instincts.

Hey Hypno!!! had a suggestion for the storage system - take for example, the chests you labelled with the prismarine. how about, say, keeping the bottom most chest for all ocean related blocks; the middle chest for ocean organic related material(fish,mob drops,etc); and the topmost for misc/any other type you see fit? maybe you can expand some sort of scheme for all the chests too-that way you'd have sub organisation levels too! totally understandable if you don't too, it's a lot of work after all :D

the reaction to the tunnel was the best reaction i coulda hoped for. that was utterly hilarious and absolutely perfect. i am sorry for your turtle woes but theyve also given me an idea. One of the entrances into the storage room is a drop down a well. Maybe rig that up to splash him with the turtle master potion or slow falling or something and just.... extending the drop? not to like, his death or anything but just so that its annoying to get out.

Revenge against Wels: He has given you the greatest tool to acheive that! A 2-wide stair to a "secret" tunnel! Here's whatcha do! You get some redstone and you turn that entrance intoa door, some "simple" block-swap and close the tunnel with a seamless match to your floor. You might wanna hire a redstoner fer that part. Then, and here's the evil retaliation part, you make a "key" to open it from the tunnel side that requires a diamond to be thrown on a specific patch of dirt. Extra evil to hide the hopper under lava requiring him to toss a diamond into the lava when he uses it!

Hatching turtles is one of my favorite things to do in MC (I had a pet turtle named Philip years ago, but I lost him). It's a rewarding experience. :) Glad you realized that the eggs needed to go on sand, though. I was talking to you when you're putting them on the dirt, lol.

*Defense Lawyer:* You cannot build a bridge to Hypno's base. *Criminal Defense Lawyer:* But you didn't say I couldn't build a tunnel. In the spirit of keeping Wels's base fortified, you have to fill in the tunnel. But obviously stone is just too easy to mine through. What you could do is use alternating blocks of dirt, sand/gravel, wood and obsidian, along with water and lava. You know, to keep any intruders from _under mining_ Wels's fort, of course. Another possible option is to give Wels _three more_ tunnel exits from his storage room. That way, he has one going North, South, East and West.

You should make death trap in the tunnel what works if person is not sneaking. And then call him over, to show that you made your shared tunnel safer with extra security. Do some extra work to make it so it fake deletes items afterwards. Then you can have whole bit about how much he likes the extra deadly security in the secret tunnel after he has already died and "lost items".
