I have a new funny book idea: witches that do exactly that. They ask each other if they’d like to have dinner, but they sit in silence and only occasionally giggle, smirk, etc. At a bite they just took.. something like that could make an interesting story. I might pitch this to my mom! 😂

The scented dish/ hand soap is really a thing. I have a friend who won't even use soap before she made anything with her hands. She used strong alcohol similar to vodka. I am super sensitive to smells so I wash my hands with soap and then triple rinse them until I cannot smell anything. I have also tasted laundry soap in bread when people were not careful to use unscented.

It is definitely a thing. My husband thinks I’m bonkers, but I can smell something floral scented my MIL uses in the kitchen in her food. I don’t know if it is dish soap or what. It’s not every time, but sometimes I will start eating and the taste/smell is overwhelming. I also have to wash the kids’ clothes and hair immediately after a visit, because I’m going to be smelling Glade Plug-ins in their hair for days if I don’t. 😂 She’s totally worth it though!
