Regarding the bad steward and marshal you can't get rid of, you could uncover a secret they have which you can arrest them for. If I remember rightly they'd forfeit their positions in prison. I would also suggest you look at everyone's feudal contract to make sure they haven't got guaranteed council rights - I expect that's what got those two on the council to begin with.

He does things like that a lot, after 51 episodes I've just gotten used to it. 😄 Fortunately CK3 is pretty forgiving of mistakes. And hey, sometimes mistakes can throw up interesting story potential. No-one's perfect and medieval rulers were rarely anything close to that, so pretty historically faithful I'd say.

Becoming Holy Roman Emperor is a bit extreme. Gaining independence and taking England could be enough counties to create an Angevine Empire. The rivalry between the HRE, known historically as the only legitimate empire, and the Angevine Empire has some good story elements for the later game!

I will miss the kingdom of aragon but the kingdom of Aquitaine make more sense because of the history and all

I feel destorying the Kingdom of Aragon doesn't make sense from a roleplay perspective for this family. For several generations, the base of their power and prestige were being the Kings and Queens of Aragon. I do think making Aquitaine the primary title makes sense. I personally don't like the idea of independence. I like the idea of him consolidating power from under him and then usurping him. The last time the Platagent struck out on his own King Henri I and his daughter Queen Sarah faced multiple threats to their power until Queen Sarah was forced to humble herself by becoming vassal once again. I think that time of betrayal a French King and an ambitious uncle would loom large over the Plantagenet pysche. I think making a power-play for Galicia could be particularly exciting. It pains me how many Plantagents had vast claims only to never be able to utlize them. I have to say I kinda dislike that a strong claim becomes weak. Like, if your father has a strong claim to and you inherit his claim why is your claim any weaker? That doesn't make sense to me. I get it's probably a gameplay balance thing though that logic doesn't make sense to me.

Yo what happened to the Richards? We had two princes a little while back, one of em ended up briefly King of Poitiers, and then you blink and they’re all gone. I like diversity in names instead of like just seven Folques in a row, but when Richard of Poitiers got powerful I was looking forward to some Richards and then they just all disappeared
