WarPlan Pacific - Review (A Great WW2 Strategy Game?)

Thanks for the doing the review of my game. A couple notes. I keep the counters pretty simple so I can appeal to a broad base. But there are a fair amount of counter mods that you can insert into the game that add more color. In WarPlan I plan on adding empty alternate counter slots directly in the options section players can use. Attacking. I noticed you were attacking one unit at a time. WarPlan series allows multiple hex attacks. Hit the "?" and look under the Land tab for information. Basically. LMB main unit + SHIFT key hold + hover over enemy + RMB attacks with all available units around the enemy. LMB main unit + CONTROL key hold + hover friendly units adds them to the attacking force. Then hover over enemy + RMB to attack with all selected forces Also be sure to check for updates. It is on 1.00.01... and sometime in the next 2 weeks it will be 1.00.02 update.

I love the game, I wish you could see a pop up of naval battles being fought out after months of waiting to complete a battleship. You command it in waters that is in range of a enemy airbase and you see your fleet being lost in 0.1 seconds is dissapointing.

I’d say Pacific as it has some additional features that I know the dev wanted in Warplan, but didn’t have them implemented yet.

If an IJN division lands in New Guinea and marches across the Owen Stanley range to attack Port Moresby... will it suffer significant attrition just from the march?

I believe it would. And the movement is painfully slow through jungle
