It's a luxury residence, would be ideal for something like 3 generation families under a roof. If I bought one any bigger, I would probably have to long-term hire a live in Filipino housekeeper or two and contract hire landscapers.

@@hkdiva2015 We have a family friend who lives in mount pleasant in a home around this size, maybe a tad bit larger. They survive just fine without a 24-hr housekeeper, although they did used to have one. They do have bullet-proof windows though, and have to have 24-hr security systems everywhere. They've had plenty of 'uninvited' guests, which are hard to notice until one of the kids went and said there was a 'man' sneaking around outside the 2nd floor patio! How they got through the gates is scary to think about. Not very homely or practical to be honest, especially for a simple family with 2 kids. It doesn't help he's not home half the time either, so it's just wife and the kids.

There are so many furnished houses on KZbin and they are awesome yes, but I really wanted to see one without. This one is beautiful and roomy and the fixtures and fittings already there are super classy. The empty space lets us envision differently what we'd do with a particular space: study or living room or piano corner etc...

Marsbar1212 but it’s still booming. I do ads for real estate. Last year there were houses on the market for months as well. Some houses are still being bought well over asking. Just because it’s your perception what is happening in your area doesn’t make it so. Also those people that sold their homes had some great agents that took advantage of the market. And it’s probably “slow” because the homes that were actually worth buying got sold last year. Also, remember the Asian market is drying up due to the new restrictions on international property buyers. You also have to check the ratio between buyers and sellers. It’s still a sellers market.

It was disappointing to see an open floor plan where living room and formal dining room share space. And then again in kitchen and family room... Very small kitchen for such a big house. I did like the garages not in the front. The upstairs looks like a hotel, hallways and doors.
