My dad was into ghost then, I was way younger and a little kid. Started seeing ghost in 2013, with Papa 2 and I remember it being so mysterious and out of the ordinary from the other shows I went too.

Papa 1 is my favorite. I love the walking corpse effect - super creepy! I’ll never forget how sad I was when I learned he was “replaced” by Papa 2, only to be relieved to learn it was a different character, but the same person under the makeup!

They probably never will because Tobias said that he wants ghost to play in arenas and the reason they left the devil/occult themes behind on their newer records is because they know that they’d never grow and get to that level because not everyone wants to hear Satan this/Lucifer that. Early Ghost was super different from everyone else though that’s for sure.

Don't get me wrong though, I'm happy Tobias is getting more exposure, but at the same time, I feel it's taking away from the bands overall occult look and sound. I'm well aware that Ghost has been campy from the start, but Forge has taken it to a more comical level, and I'm beginning to lose interest in the band.
