not Heisenberg principle but the Observer Effect or Hawthorne Effect
@yellingintothewindАй бұрын
Not Heisenberg's uncertainty, not even the generalized uncertainty principle. It's the observer effect. The generalized uncertainty principle gives only the absolute lower bound in the uncertainty in simultaneous values _calculated_ (not observed) through quantum mechanics. And that lower bound is _tiny_ (on the order of ℏ). It has nothing to do with observations of _anything_ made through classical mechanics. It is often confused with the Observer Effect, since the latter isn't associated with a cool sounding name. The observer effect is something that comes up not _just_ in quantum mechanics, but all of science. The act of observing, or the steps necessary for the observation, necissarily changes the effect observed, often in a fundamental way. This is entirely different from not being able to precisely _measure_ the effect, the effect itself is changed.

There are homages, covers, and clones in music, none of that necessarily makes the art bad. It can often be well received, the issue therein; whether in music or in other forms of art of writing, is in dishonesty. In terms of hip hop, it isn’t making a claim, it’s trying to sound good for what it is; it isn’t dishonest. Likewise a rock or metal band can be retro or worship of an older sound, but again, as it’s honest about what it is, that isn’t a problem. In these cases being discussed, the person in question is lying for financial gain. Simply not the same thing by any stretch of the imagination.
