I could smell that fish choka very delicious I would try it I steam the fish with salt n blackpepper n then mix it but that looks very delicious

Yes except you pound the shrimp in a mortar.

Hey thanks Rita, you are certainly welcome. You had me rolling with laughter when I read 'bang bang fish' . ( I hope that was auto complete's fault🤣) It was the Banga Mary fish which we used.

I'm a Trini. I make something similar. I use saltfish instead. roast it on d stove, wash it add seasoning (no chive) & chunkay with little oil & hot pepper..👌

🙂Yes Shaheed , some people add tomatoes to this choka as well but it is not added by everyone. We feel that this choka tastes better without the tomatoes, so we don't usually add.

🙂Yes guys some people add tomatoes, we don't because unlike Baigan choka etc. tomatoes does not go very well with this one. That's just our liking, you can of course add to yours.
