I have the 2016 model year of this bike. It's still my favorite and most comfortable bike in my stable.

Ohhhh, the color makes me so nostalgic for the Niner Air9 from over a decade ago. Will it be sold as a framset only, at what price and when will it be available? Would love to add this to the stable.

I’m pretty set on getting the carbon but I love this color.

I just bought a frame. It was really cheap and might make a fun project. I am not quite sure how I’ll build it out. I suppose we will see. Yeah… like I need ANOTHER bike.

may we suggest a Niner BioCentric 30 for all the single-speeding fun?

Was there a reason not to run the rear brake house through the frame like the shifting lines? Plenty of room but the lack of run kills the clean look

Is there routing for an internal dropper post?

Great. But and about the crankset and cassete?
@NinerBikesOfficial2 жыл бұрын
Hi Paulo, thank you for the message and the feedback. Is there a specific question you had about those items? We do not typically reference the build kits in these Inside The Nine videos as they change almost on a yearly basis. These videos are designed to be more about the frame and fork features. If there is a question you have, please let us know! You can also head to the website and check out all of the specifics of the build kits on the product page. We look forward to hearing from you soon! -Niner Marketing Team

It is a great bike but sounds all the specs are unchanged compared to the 2022 model. Did I miss any changes?
@sascha17782 жыл бұрын
OK, the fork seems to have changed. It now is 12x100 whereas it used to be 15x100
@NinerBikesOfficial2 жыл бұрын
Hi Sascha, thank you for the message. You are correct in that the fork spec changed in around '19 or '20 from 15x100 to 12x100. For the most part, the spec changes from year to year are minimal. The bigger updates are to the colors unless we are releasing a new model. We hope this helps! -Niner Marketing Team

@@NinerBikesOfficial One more questions. Are all cables of the Alloy version internally routed? I am asking in particular because the rear brake cable used to be externally routed with the Alloy version.
@NinerBikesOfficial2 жыл бұрын
Sascha, the cables and housing on the RLT 9 are partially internally routed. This means that most of the cables and housing enter the down-tube just behind the head-tube and then exit just below the bottom bracket. The housing is the run below the chain-stays. We hope this helps. -Niner Marketing Team

Hey thanks for the video I enjoyed watching. I’m a serious purchaser. I’ve been waiting over 2 years now for the Trek 520 disc, for tour bicycling. I saw this bicycle on sale at one of my nearby bicycle stores. After watching your video. I imagine it being very good for bicycle touring. Would it be suitable to join some group cyclist Though? Im new to road cycling. I’ve had mountain bikes my entire life of over 25 years riding.

Hi oo7, Thank you for the message and that is a great question! The great thing about the line of RLT's is how versatile they are. We of course designed this bike as a "Gravel" bike. But because we tried to keep customers like you in mind, we made sure to add both geometry and frame features to appeal to all types of riders. This bike will handle group rides really well. Because of the geometry, it won't be as "twitchy" as say the top end road bikes. This is good for longer days in the saddle and when you need to be more focused on the riders around you than the terrain. Just throw some slick tires on it, and you will have the most capable and comfortable bike in the group! We hope this helps. -Niner Marketing Team

@niner Thanks a lot man! I’ve had my eyes on the bicycle for at least three months, was still available the past few months. So I’m now working (two jobs, ‘life is expensive’) im putting monthly deposits on it to take home in late March. I’m absolutely ‘obsessed with the look and colour, as it’s my exact favourite colour 👌🏼… I feel it was meant to be, because I discovered gravel racing. Which the trek 520 is not meant for. This bicycle is a heck of a lot more versatile. I researched the bicycle past few months, having said being obsessed, and all information I’ve collected said good things about the bicycle. I feel comfortable that my hard earned money is going towards something of value. Looking forward to entering the 100km gravel race. Ancaster to Paris in Ontario. Woohoo! 🙌🏻 …I don’t believe there is any Niner rider gear to represent you guys though. If so. I’d buy it also. Just one thing at a time. As life is expensive these days. ‘Thank you and have a great new year’. ‘Blessings 🙌🏻
