Loved the photography, food, music, coffee and more. Much of what you show us are unknown to Americans. We get a lot of info on London, Paris, and Rome, but you are showing us wonderful things that should also be explored. ALSO, thank you Václav for not killing Val.

The verdict on Cesky Krumlov? I MUST VISIT!!! The verdict on EGON? If he was a connoisseur of under age, then guilty regardless of his skill in art. Valerie, I am gobsmacked by your ability to start the day with out coffee especially since your an avid coffee lover. It's amazing how your towns in that part of the world are so architecturally beautiful where ever you walk!!! MORE GREAT VIDEO'S PLEASE!!!🙏🙏🙏

Loved your video. I’m an American living in Moravia, and I love Cesky Krumlov. I was there in August for the forth or fifth time, and it was really challenging to me this time because I’m dealing with a neurological disease that I didn’t have to contend with before. But I had a great time even though I couldn’t go all the places I wanted to, and people were extra kind to me. I spent a lot of time on the square in the center. Watching your video just made me think of that. Thanks for the great memories.

Yeah. Been wanting to go there 1st time I went to Prague but only saw bus for students(?) that must be booked prior days but I only have 4d/3n in Prague so impossible for me to get a seat on the bus plus the return transportation. Now I knew there's a train trip, yeah I can stay 72 hours, the inner town looks compact with lots to see & Rennaissance structures which I love! Thanks!

Will extra footage from this footage be combined for an "Awkward Eating with Valery" video? 😋 That is an incredibly scenic city. Those pics at the end are really enchanting. That town square looks a lot like the old town square at Brno, maybe a bit smaller. There seems to be a lot of Vietnamese in Czech Republc. Or at least more than other asians. Why?

I added and extra night at Č Krumolov after watching these, and I was happy with the choice. I ended up seeing a lot of B-side attractions, but they were all interesting, and the city pass that covered them was not too expensive. Three other activities I added and enjoyed - visiting the Seidel photographyh museum, walking up to the pilgrimage chapel above town and taking in the views, and catching a movie at the modernist art cinema building just outside the historic town or at least visiting its cafe.

I’m going back for my second visit to Cesky Krumlov next November so I hope I have as stunning weather as it looks as though you did! I also share your love of photography so I agreed re the fog and your photos are awesome! Are the crowds down only because of COVID or other reasons? Look forward to your next video!! Cheers, Marg
@RealPragueGuides3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for all your supportive words! The crowds are mainly down because of Covid, but also because it was late October when we filmed this. Late October is usually not busy, but there would still be more people than what you saw in the footage.

@patrickfitzgerald28613 жыл бұрын
C'mon Alfredo! They want variety like most of us. Besides, it looked pretty good! Oh, and FYI, calling it "oriental food" in the US might get you branded as a racist. 😎

@@patrickfitzgerald2861 Oriental racist? It was a mix of Vietnamese and Japanese food, what do you want me to call it? Orient, Oriental, are not demeaning adjectives at all, just a relative geographic position on the planet.

Food coma advice, tell your camera guy you're saving him money (no gym needed) by letting him carry you where you need getting. UFO advice, if they show up tell me 1st. Český Krumlov Is nice town. It has been popularised by Czech leaders because of current cold wat between Russia and USA. Karlovz Vary is more beautiful town, just 2hours from Prague, but with Russian influence so it has no promotion in last 10 years. 🌄 I prefer even Lednice, Kutna hora or Brno to Ceskz Krumlov, but this town is also nice 😉
