@@anthonyf.3009 IRacing not only has a monthly subscription fee but if you actually want to do any serious oval racing you're going to have to plunk down some pretty serious money for the tracks and cars you'll need. Not to mention you're looking at a few hundred for an entry level setup to race or in the thousands for something mid-high range (I paid around $2000 CAD for my setup) Don't get me wrong I love IRacing (even with it's long time problems) but it's definitely a costly hobby. I do love me some NR2003 though and all you need for that is an entry lever wheel and pedals.

I agree with you about the cars driving more realistic. One thing I really enjoy is the way the clutch responds when switching gears, you can actually ride the clutch and ease it into first gear. I was not able to do this in HEAT 4.Anybody else notice this? I’m playing this on Xbox one BTW.

I've bought the game, the gold edition specifically, for the first days after buying it, I wasn't sure if it was going to be worth it. I saw Radman's video regarding supporting the devs and I honestly agree with that. They are a GOOD team, a small team that means well, I know I've said this before on his video on why you should buy it. But I had a bug on career in heat 4 where it wouldn't progress to the next race. I reported it, they told me they had a fix coming, and asked if I had any dlc. I hadn't any at the time so I told them not yet but I was looking to get the Season Pass. The Customer Service Rep told me that I didn't need to worry, they'd take care of it for me. They had made a fan for life, I promised them i'd buy their next game's gold edition. So I have. After Radman's first video and this one, I realized something, something that this video has only built upon. This next game, won't be the F1 2020 of NASCAR, I reckon the Nascar (Heat 8 if it's still called that then) will be the game we all look and hope for. I know it's a lot to ask to just hold on and support until then, stick by them, and I imagine they'll stick by us. F1 2010 is a hell of a lot different from 2020, Heat 5 will be a hell of a lot different from Heat 8. They need time to build this engine, so I reckon this game could get the Heat 3 treatment (I hope) where we get a 2021 Season Pass, gives them more chances to make money, new content, and gives them more time to make the next game as best it can. You don't have to buy it, but keep my words in mind, i'm not the smartest guy around, and I may be wrong in the future. But remember, giving Nascar back to EA would be stupid, look at FIFA, Madden, NHL, NBA... Just consider it, if you don't buy it, understandable, look forward to seeing you all on the track.

7:04 those paint schemes youre going through ARE the challenge rewards, because those werent there before i played the challenges, and now that ive completed them the paint schemes are there. so its not the challenge drivers paint scheme you unlock but instead you get another drivers scheme.

To be honest I was really disappointed with this game it is buggy as hell and a clone of heat 4 in most aspects. They shouldn't charge 50$ for a half cloned game that is unfinished. Also i thinks it is still stupid that they make you pay for paint schemes.

These heat games have outdated arcade graphics the gameplay is horrible they need to have more realistic damage and realistic looking crashes,they need commentary and driver introduction. They need to go back to the days of nascar thunder 2003 and 2004 when they had commentary,a grand marshal and the flyover and national anthem and the damage physics were better with fenders and hoods flying off the cars and engines blew and they had car in flames, i would also love to see lightning challenges and thunder plates to unlock free paint schemes and legend drivers and fantasy tracks like back in nascar 2003 and 2004

1) If Chase Briscoe can keep his lane and not lose speed after he saved his in Turn 1 then no the physics are not good/better. 2) If the custom championship mode is not complete while the tracks are in the actual game than that is lazy/unforgivable. 3) No racing line on road courses during the actual race is completely ignorant and would be so easy for 704 to add to the game. 4) The music. Come on. The music is so trash! Again, another year that i will be sitting out. The quality of the product after 5 years is purely not worth the price tag. F1 2020 is such a complete game that I would be happy to sink my time and money into. Thanks for the review. I really enjoy your channel and videos. P.S. I know they have a small team. That is not a valid argument. Quit putting out a yearly release if you are not big enough to produce enough changes/updates/improvements for a new release. Just stop it.

This game is basically a copy/paste of heat 4 and actually probably even worse because i have heard there were a few bugs or glitches in the game. The only positive of this game it’s fun to play with a racing wheel.I play heat 4 with my Trustmaster ferrari wheel and it plays very well. This game is horrible because they rushed developed this game. it’s just as worse as Nascar 14 i remember being so mad because they released Nascar 14 and the game was unplayable until they did a patch. once they put a patch update it was like a brand new game. But these heat games are garbage with this unity game engine and this developer. These games are arcade racing designed more for kids to play and kill time. A real Nascar racing game on a new generation system and soon to be on the next newer generation should be more of a realistic simulation racing game. I really miss my PS 2 when i had Nascar thunder 03 and 04 the games were so much better detailed. They had announcers who went through the pits before the race and highlighted certain top drivers,You had a grand marshal and the national anthem and flyover and the pace car led the cars off pit road and they went a lap around as the announcers announced each car and their row and position. You had blag flags,caution replay. Why they made 5 games and never put this in any heat game is mind blowing. It’s like a big thing to. have in a Nascar race. The crash damage physics are horrible in these heat games. You hit a wall at 190 mph and you barely have any damage, the front hood is crumpled yet you bang sides with another driver or scrape the wall there is no damage on your car and no dnfs in season mode. That’s totally unrealistic when you compare it to the Nascar thunder games. Nascar thunder had the best damage physics. Cars would look destroyed and hoods and fenders flew off the cars and engines and fuel tanks would explode causing the cars to catch fire. The damage on Nascar heat is totally unrealistic. It’s time a new developer who has the experience of actually being at a race and seeing the sounds and actions of the race to put that into a game. The other only improvement heat 4 had was the engine sounds were better,could they do even better? yeah but at least a 750 horsepower car doesn’t sound like a lawnmower like it did in heat 3 I just feel like this game should be better developed for adults who watch the races,go to the races and know every detail about the sport. I just feel these games were quickly and poorly developed to entertain kids. To me this isn’t supposed to be a kids game. They’ve added the alcohol sponsorship into the game with an age verification for adult players the least they could do is develop the game to be designed for adult play. It’s not a game that i would go out and buy a $200 racing wheel for. If i’m buying a expensive wheel setup i’ll stick to a simulation racing game like Iracing and leave this game to the cheaper wheel or analog controller. Unlike most sports games there is so much you could add into this game to make it better and more realistic. Add commentary,a flyover,the national anthem,rivalries,more realistic crashes and damage to the car that is more detailed and realistic. Add an option where you can use a headset with your controller and respond with your spotter and crew. I remember having a headset with my PS2 for playing Nascar Thunder and you could actually ask your crew or spotter what your track position is,who is in the lead,where your rival is as far as position,the spotter or crew chief could actually respond to your voice i cussed in the head set and my crew actually came on and said Nascar officials penalized me for it and i got a pit box penalty. That was how realistic the Nascar thunder games were compared to these heat games. i feel like they should attempt to make one more for the upcoming systems and after that hang it up. I would love to see a remastered version of the Nascar thunder games be developed again for new gen. I believe they would be far better and more realistic than any of these Nascar heat games.

Cannot agree with this more. I bought all the new heat games up until now and it's so frustrating knowing all the features that were standard in the old games are nowhere to be found the new ones. Sorry for late reply.
