I don't think they disrespected him personally, but I do know they weren't feeling the song and not because it wasn't good but it had the same type vibe as "End Of The Road" but they have worked with Babyface plenty of times since then even after Motown. Marc Nelson also wrote songs with and for Babyface and his artists which is how he became a part of Az Yet, Az Yet were signed to LaFace and were put together by Babyface. I have had to retire from my career because of it. I feel his pain. OAN, it amazes me that Nate tries to act like Dallas Austin is lying about how horrible they were! And now, Kandi has said the same. When I was in college, they came for a concert, and fans couldn't wait to see the show. The show was lackluster, and for the ppl who had backstage passes, they were treated like we were beneath them. I mean, HORRIBLE, arrogant, nasty! All except for Shawn. Mike wasn't as bad.
