And unfortunately, this situation happens a lot . When some individuals get too comfortable or cocky in the relationship because they take for granted their partners. So if he just wanted to used her for intercourses or anything else , he could call any woman and boom she’s here!. Some guys don’t even want to pay for the first date . He like to control , he thought Mel was a object because he usually use women for his own purpose. But he realized he had more interest in her than he thought.But Mel already has her money and carrer and could leave him , if she wants because she doesn’t depend on him. And he new this ! That’s why he literally isolated her from almost everything. He couldn’t keep her for himself like he’s used to , with other women because of his money and power in the industry .

Eddie Murphy lost a wonderful woman when Mel left him. He can be a real SOB and I can attest to his inability to care for the common person. I had an opportunity to be introduced to Mr. Murphy back in 1983 he was in my hometown, in Massachusetts. My boss and other staff took me to dinner in the hotel Mr. Murphy was staying at so when he left I might get an autograph! When he came out of the hotel lobby to get in bus to go to airport with his crew, I said “Hello”, and asked may I have his autograph as I was a big fan of his work. He looked at me, up and down, turned and boarded the bus went to about the middle section and sat down. I looked at him through the glass and held up the piece of paper and pen, and he pulled down the shade on the bus window!!! Talk about hurt feelings, bewilderment and simply being stunned at how rude he had been. I walked away, went back to my dinner party and explained in tears how utterly bad I felt as if I had intruded on his privacy or life. Mind you, I was the ONLY one out there waiting for him to come out of the hotel, so it wasn’t as if there was a mob or anything. After that incident, it took some time for me to want to even give him any props as a talented artist. Yet over time I forgave his ignorance and arrogance internally for myself and was able to enjoy his series of movies which were to come later. But I never forgot nor will forget the side of this man that is just plain mean spirited! I know a narcissist when I come across one. And there is an aspect of this dude that is the ultimate self absorbed jerk. I do believe in true love though. Maybe this guy will get it together enough one day to realize that Mel loves him, in spite of himself and his over the top cruelty which surfaces from time to time!

I had a similar experience with him. In college me and three of my girlfriends went to the Raw concert in New York City. His Entourage, walking around giving away backstage passes and I happened to be one of the ones that got backstage and invited to his home in Englewood Cliffs New Jersey. That night I met Chris Rock and Paul Mooney. Two perfect gentlemen. But when Eddie Murphy finally did appear he was RUDE and ARROGANT. I said "Hello"!!! He looked me up and down roll his eyes and walked away. No hello, no thank you for coming...... NOTHING!!! So it seems this is his... NORM!!! But an old saying!!!.....When you find a FOOL.....you leave him a FOOL!!!!!
