Melanie, your new hair-style looks lovely! I have been overwhelmed myself lately with illness and personal stuff so haven't commented in awhile. I am so happy that Ellie Mae seems to be recovering. You two are doing wonderfully with her care. 😊 I am excited for you that you are going to be able to work on your mud room. May God bless you in your hard work and protect you in the risks. I am so glad to hear Rox and Anthony are safely home!

I love the highlights in your hair Mel.. I think highlights are becoming to most people.. We haven’t had as much rain as was predicted.. yet.. enough though the pastures are very green and yards.. even the leaves are still green.. I’m glad Anthony and Roxanne made it back safely.. I know it’s good to be back.. it’s good y’all are right there to be able to take care of everything when an emergency comes up..

I hear you on the rain! Here in southern Missouri it's so dry. They keep forecasting rain a few days away, and they just keep moving it forward. We got like 20" over two days earlier in July, and not a drop since. Glad Ant and Rox are coming home today I think, and continuing prayers for Dad and GG. Blessings, Texas Deb ❤️

We usually get bypassed with some rain as well. It usually comes from th southwest toward us. But our lake is on th west side of town. There are times that when the storm reaches the lake, it splits and goes south and north of us. We always call it "the old Hubbard split". The towns north and south of us get th rain. But we can't complain. The rivers south of us feed our lake when they get the rain. So either is a blessing.
