Joan Sholl Francis Cool! It is a lovely park, and most people are so busy over by the fence around the White House that the park doesn't have all that many people in it. Bev and I are going back for a picnic when the weather breaks in the spring!Paul

RantWithJeff Thanks Jeff! Squirrels do in fact rule! They are very friendly there. I am given to understand that at one point in history they squirrels were essentially gone from there, and were reintroduced by Presidential order (Truman I believe). I do enjoy the little rodents. :D Paul

Willow Star The Ginko I recognized on sight, and the info was rattling around in my head. It is very nice to have the trees labeled though, because some of them I didn't immediately recognize. Some of the trees there are very old, and have probably been there longer than the country has been the USA. Paul

Hi, Paul & Bev! another interesting video :-) beautiful weather! and the scene with the squirrels is priceless! So what the monumental style is concerned: I would say, is Victorian style. but I'm not sure!

Eusepio1957 Ettore, thanks! I am not sure what the style of the monuments would be considered. I guess I always thought of it as "colonial". There are a massive number of monuments in this town, and we will be showing them periodically, but I want to spread that out to concentrate on the typical sort of average stuff we do.Weather is suppose to turn cold tomorrow, but not for too long.Paul

***** The music track was an artistic choice. I try and mix it up from time to time. I was more concerned that the squirrels might grab me!! :D Everyone in this town is in a hurry. Even the tourists. So most people run to get a picture across the street in front of the White House and completely miss this park. We are looking forward to our next visit, and a picnic!! :DPaul
