But then as I thought it'd be better if haku was knocked out and zabuza died because zabuza wouldn't have changed if he didn't believe haku was dead and naruto did the talk no justu. Haku could've been a strong ally. Same with zabuza if they managed to change him but itd take something like haku dieing for that to happen. If haku died and zabuza didn't it wouldve just felt weird

His life turned him extremely cold thats why I said it would take something like hakus death to change him. He was trying to kill tazuna just for money. That isn't something a good person would do. I'm not sure what your point was in typing all that cause it doesn't change the fact that it would take something crazy like haku dying for him for him to change his ways. He was a ninja who believed he had to use people. He even tried hacking through haku to get to kakashi. Mind you, haku literally just used himself as a human shield to save zabuza. Was he really bad tho? Naruto aired on Toonami when I was only 13 so I didn't understand the politics of it all. It wasn't til I was older and rewatched Naruto that I realized Zabuza was a freedom fighter trying to liberate his home from Tyranny. The Mist was already a hell hole and even more when Obito took control of Yagura and ruled as a dictator in revenge for what they did to Rin. Zabuza was trying to end that tyranny and overthrow the mist government. Like Itachi, he carried the burden of being vilified for the greater good of his village.

I mean zabuza could be tripping and trash talking and kakashi never explicitly said haku was stronger. But then during their second fight, kakashi didn't outclass zabuza that much and haku showed speed above kakashi when he tanked the chidori for zabuza. Also edo haku outsped base lee and guy. So yh manga never explicitly said haku stronger than ss1 kakashi but i do think its fair to assume so. And i dont think mentioning sasuke and naurto beat haku is a good argument since it's stated in databook that haku moves at light speed in the mirror and edo haku clearly shown to outspeed base shipuden lee and guy so naruto sasuke hitting haku is plot armor or haku letting them hit him.

Haku especially could have had a relationship with Naruto that would be a less toxic form of his rivalry with Sasuke, as I'm certain Haku would have loved to see Naruto develop to his full potential. It's also a shame we didn't really see any more of the Yuki Clan, as I'm sure Hyōton has a lot to offer in addition to using Suiton and Fūton. Those mirrors are especially fascinating. Zabuza could have gone on to at least pass on Kubikiribōchō to another student, plus Naruto just opening his mouth could have encouraged him to perhaps re-enlist as an official ninja.

I know Zabuza and Haku were the first ninjas for Naruto to face in the real ninja-world, which also indicates that they were both pretty strong ninjas since they have been brought back to life. The only thing wrong with this is that Naruto never met them, they were the first major enemies in the series and set the story of the tailed beast into motion. Also I would´ve liked to see Zabuza and Haku fight like a tag team against team 7 again where their full potential as ninjas would have shined! I actually think they both meet in after life, say whatever you want, but there can be two options zabuza went to hell cuz he is murder same with haku, or haku went in to the heaven cuz he sacrifice himself for someone else, but zabuza could go in to the heaven too cuz he changed his mind and feel sad and guilty for haku, he stoped seeing him as a weapon but as a best friend or part of the family (dunno they relationship is complected), so zabuza teoreticly could go in ti the heaven too, or just haku goes in to the heaven and zabuza in to the hell, but i think its one of these options
