i was playing as ram and punching reaper get pocketed by a mercy (healing) and his health bar did not move. Ram deals around 100 dps when in punch form, but mercy heals 65 and reaper deals 218 dps without headshots and heals himself 75 health per sec. almost no tank has the dps to kill reaper in a 1ws1 you litterally dont have the stats.

I’m a reaper main and he’s really only a threat to very specific hero’s: ones with big hitboxes. Like almost all the tanks (JQ is a bit of a challenge), Bastion, Mei (sometimes), and so on. Otherwise, Reaper can be struggle to play sometimes because the game doesn’t really favor his method of damage output

@@christes I usually have a pretty solid success rate against bastions (tho, again, I am in Plat). I usually try targeting them when they’re in normal bastion mode first, then once they go into turret form, I wraith and move behind them since my movement speed is usually faster than their turning speed. That headshot hit box is super tasty once you get eyes on it

@G128_cz I mean anyone landing headshots will delete you quickly. I generally don't have trouble with soldier but I can see why (especially if he lands his skill shot (forgot name)). I go after anyone I can, sometimes it's the backline, sometimes it's the flankers and tanks. Whatever I can to disrupt them.

@@DapimpBDSD best is the tank, most heal for You max dmg output, if You straight up challange any actual dps, not burst but dmg per second (soldier, sojourn and even cass) You ARE gonna get melted b'cuz the window berween shots is enough to drain You so I just say "hey I go after tank trust me, You go the rest" cuz if I try to flank behind They have to much time to react and use a ability that safes them

Its very funny, but the best tank to play against reaper right now might actually be Winston. Trying to right click snipe him, dance around the edge of my bubble then dive him with a tracer is as good a chance as i have against him with any tank

I fight Winstons pretty handidly so I wouldn't say so, plus You can just destroy the Bubble with couple shots and then just dmg the Winston without using Wraith
