Good stuff. They're real lucky to have you as a coach. I'd join your program in a heartbeat if I were local to you.

Hi Brian. I was surprised to find no TMG videos on Escapes from Technical Mount. Looking forward to your perspective on this common BJJ position.

Matuesz gamrot did a nice viktor roll against tsarukyan on the weekend, would be cool if you broke down some stuff from that fight since that was a high level wrestling contest in an MMA context

I love moves like this, the opponent thinks he has a favored position by having your back trying to slam you , he would never see this kimura grip coming . He would definitely fall into a trap with that. My thought is once he feels you going for the kimura his only option would be to quickly jump onto your back for a choke but if you having his leg hooked with your foot makes that not possible.

When wrestlers say "don't reach back" I see why though. Looking at this video the momentum can throw you backwards.

Can you still break the grip if other guys grip is reversed? (Kimura-ed arm has palm facing down)

I’ve seen one where u walk forwards and almost sag down, trying to get seperation between your hips and your opponents and then trying to break their body lock with ur hands, what do u think about that one? It becomes really hard to get lifted as well

That wont work against a larger stronger opponent. They would just get slammed. Squat and spin is better then
