Had to use a reciprocating saw and cut the bolt for my rear shocks.

I changed the cab shocks on mine I took a torch and melted the bushing to get the bolts out couldn’t get to it to cut off with anything

I bought a set of Fox Shocks for trucks about $240 a piece. They are in the middle between factory and the Road King shocks for stiffness. Worked well.

I would take a nap to , I always sleep better if I know my equipment is fixed, I hate leaving something broken.

Have to say that shock job turned into a real pain in the rear. Little antiseize sure helps the next guy. Usually the next guy will be me.

Yep, always one bolt or nut away from a half or multi day job depending on what it's on lol

I see the front axle is in the top notch and the rear axle is in the lower notch is that the way they should be installed both of mine are in the top notch.

I've had 2 of these trucks and both were that way so I assume that's how they are supposed to be.
