Rear Sway Bar Bushings - C6 Corvette

Look at what channel I found!!! I’m thinking about putting z51 sways on my 2008 base model. People say it’s a massive improvement.

Small world in the early C6 crowd! The Z51 sways are noticable larger than the base version. If you do upgreade the sway bar make sure to add some aftermarket end links. The factory end links are not great. I haven't been in a car with the smallest sway bar offerings, but the difference from Z51 to Z06 is marginal so I have no plan to upgrade mine until I get better as a driver.

I bought them directly from Quick Jacks during one of their Black Friday sales a few years back. Don't remember the price. My car is a little lower than stock. I have (2) 1" boards that I drive on for each tire that raises the car about 1.75". That gets me the ability to get the Quck Jacks under it.

Do you think you could replace the sway bar bushings without removing the sway bar from the car? It looks like you could just remove the bushing clamps and bushings in place, although you may have to pry the sway bar outward a little bit.

@@ktriebol on the front 100% yes. Rear you might be able to but would need to loosen the end links too.

I had to go to a therapist. (j/k) I had the most annoying squeak coming from somewhere in the front of my 2008. Turned out to be the shock absorbers! Next project: The dreaded harmonic balancer...😬

@@robarnt6 I replaced shocks first. HB takes a bit. Just finished make earlier this summer.

Where did you find the bushings? OEM is discontinued.

I found mine from Zip Corvette. Confirm what size you need before ordering.
