Except their insults aren't particularly good. Real insults require creativity, ask Chruchill. "Winston if I was your wife I'd poison your tea" "Madame if you were my wife I would drink it" Now that is a classy ass burn.

Nope, venezuela was socially torn to pieces because of the president being 'hatefull', so yes, it will do something, it poisons the people and puts them against each other, until the country became a cannibalistic race of 'all vs all' that it is today, so the government can do whatever they want while people are too busy killing each other over a bag of flour or a roll of toiler paper.

artiemx We're talking about a 17 years old situation that is long and complex, of course it was not just one thing but a combination of several, what I meant to say was that it did play a role in how everything went down, it's part of what divided the people at the beginning, though I guess I shouldn't have simplified it that much on the first place, my bad.

I got tired of saying that and ppl didn't listen to me. Trump is exactly like Chavez was IRL, while Bernie was lying to people and using the same campaign speeches as Hugo Chavez did when he was running for president. I was really really worried about this election, because having Bernie vs Trump would basically be having "The Theory Chavez" vs "The actual Chavez" and both ideas areterrible. I am soooo glad, Hillary won the nomination because it means there is still hope for America not becoming Venezuela.

Bernie Sanders is never embroiled in scandal and his campaign is free to focus on issues like wealth inequality, healthcare, and education. In contrast, Hillary Clinton must contend with intelligence agencies and the media; limiting time that should be spent on key topics. He wanted to put a focus on really important gings like health care and wanted to sharpen controll over MNC's while clinton...well... not really. Instead on focusing on important stuff she pulls the I am a woman card to win this election with an electoral programm that is bullshit. Don't get me wrong.... Similarities ? Chavez and Trump ?..absolutely none, Chavez was a dictator, and a comedian, he was even funny, Trump doesn't, and Chavez is dead, Trump doesn't, Chavez always wanted to be a president, Trump, by all means, I believe he doesn't ( have my reasons ) Trump could be better fit if compared with Kim Jong il. because Jong Il believe is a Macho alpha , Trump believe that too..Venezuelans in USA are the same as Cubans, going to yell for decades, and doing nothing for their ( original ) countries, the people in Cuba and Venezuela are the real ones in the resistance, and America are not going to vote for Donald Trump

I'm a Venezuelan and also an American citizen and I can't agree more! I saw this since the beginning with Trump and when I have the opportunity I tell people what happened in Venezuela when Chavez wanted to be a president. Chavez was unique and different comparing to the rest of the politicians we were used to. So, he captive us and we voted for him because we wanted a real change. Well, after 18 years from that, Venezuela is what it is now. You can see it in the news! It is really bad, Venezuela is falling apart, people are suffering badly, struggling to find food, dealing with crime, etc. People are desperate to get out of there. This is what Chavez started, so please think really well who you give your vote to. I know Hillary is not the best option, but is better to have somebody who is the same kind of politician we're use to than another Hugo Chavez. And, for the people don't want to vote for anybody, if Trump wins you also contributed for that to happen.

This election has turned into such a media circus, that all we're missing are Maury Povich and jerry Springer as correspondents.

I love/hate when you talk about venezuelan politics. Love it because you actually CAN and that doesn't stop amazing me. You can say your opinion. And hate because you always end up in bad mood and I feel that in my heart.

Let's hope this contribution doesn't end up in a re-founded 'Geheime Staatspolizei' listing that will come if your adopted country does vote in ykw.

This is DISRESPECTFUL ! May he rest in peace he has done so much positive for Venezuela , trump is racist ! Hugo Chavez has served for his country , he always remembered when you quit your job nobody will know u let alone when your dead . When person dead good or bad let them rest !

You left all the similarities in their economic philosophy! Both favor economic autarky, the economically illiterate idea that you can improve your job economy by making markets smaller and protecting workers from competition by state intervention. In other words, both are economic illiterates.

If Flama is gonna keep having Joanna rants they should at least have someone else with political opinions. When ever she rants about certain political figures in Latin America it sounds like I'm hearing the wealthy white elites over there give there opinion. ( I'm not saying only wealthy white elites have that opinion, or that everyone else loves presidents like Chavez) That's fine if she feels that way. She is entitled to feel and express her opinion. But come on Flama you should at least give these topics some diversity.

As a Venezolana and an American you should be ashamed of this comparison Chavez was a Communist POS assasin,, is a patriot saving is from Communists Trump 2020
