Very true. I live in Miami-Dade and work in Broward and everybody down here was in shock. It was like what the hell just happened. You'd be hard pressed to find a Trump supporter down here. And those that are Trump supporters are probably staying very quiet right now. They know we're pissed. Miami-Dade, Broward (Fort Lauderdale) and Orange (Orlando) counties all went for Hillary by almost 30 percent. He lost by a lot in South Florida. It was North Florida (kicks them) that lost it for us.

Your state and local governments have a lot of influence on your daily life. Charities do a lot to help the less fortunate. So get involved. Donate and volunteer for charities and politicians that help causes that you believe in. Being proactive will help negate a lot of the potential bad things that are coming down the line. It’s not hopeless. 2. As of the latest counts, 55.6% of registered voters voted in the election. The percentage of voters is also in the same ballpark as all elections since 1972. Plus, there are still 4 million votes left to count. Which means that most people are not totally jaded, and the current generation isn’t especially messed up. Don’t believe reports that state otherwise. 3. As of the latest counts, 62,829,832 voted for Hillary. That’s more than any other president has ever received in an election besides Obama. Due to the 4 million votes left to count she could potentially pass Obama’s 2012 count as well, although 2008 is out of reach. 4. As of the latest counts, over 1.3 million more people voted for Hillary than voted for Trump. So the majority of voters did make the right decision. So yeah, the good still outnumber the pro-facist. Don’t lose hope.

Honestly, I only know on friend that voted for Clinton, everybody else, friends, family, co workers voted for Trump or did not vote, one voted for Gary Johnson.
