Yes jambo Mr. EBM I am confussed i need your clarification on this , If you are married and have kids, is it a must for both of you and your family to travel to US once selected for the DV lottery or It's allowed for the husband to go first and look for the situation in the US first to get a job and a house and then bring back the wife and kids later, please clarify to me Sir. Yes that’s what we did, my husband came 3 months ahead of me and the kids ,he got a job ,bought a car and he got an apartment for us.They allow it but i don’t know for how long .

The date of marriage, is stated but the day you registered will be at the time you are doing the registration.

What if during filling the DV entry form I stated that I am a Degree holder while still pursuing my Degree and haven't completed the course, would I be granted a DV visa or not. (I.e. During the entry I am a year 2 student but choose the Degree Option).

Hallo sir please respond to this scenario 🙏 my brother went with his wife but the visa was issued to the principal applicant (wife) and his passport is still at the embassy because his Chest x-ray come out with a tiny white line. He was instructed to take a sputum test but the results came back negative but this was after September 30th. ( incomplete medical file) We are still wondering what will happen next. The embassy has sent out any email to pick up his passport. Can the wife just request for his passport. Can the wife travel or wait for the husband 🤔

@Godfrey Ssentogo hurry and get yourself the new passport and after being selected, Make it official first then fill the Ds 260 form as MARRIED 2. On Ds 260 form, there's a question of any changes ....so use the new one on the form which is the change but remember to take the old passport with you on the interview date for evidence if you used it when applying for Dv Lottery

i submitted form DS260 and included my 2 childrem although i selected that i dont intend to immigrate with them to the US. My worry now is that some one else made for me the initial application to enter the DV rottery and he indicated that i was single without children. I'm now very afraid if this may cost me the visa. is there any way I can ask the NVC to reopen my DS260 form and i make adjustment? I want to remove the children such that it resembles the initial entry. Or I should just wait for interview.

What if u edit your social media profile to suit your Ds260.Say ur social media reads working and info on your Ds260 reads UNEMPLOYED.If actually you haven't signed any contract for the past years though you operate as a freelancer does that make u a worker if u dont have any pay slip nor a permanent contract?If u update your social media while it case is already at the embassy does that raise an eye brow at the level of the consular?
