I also have a bachelor degree. I found a really inexpensive lpn program that I can afford to pay out of pocket if need be. I want to be able to get into the field with quicker and without getting more loans. LPN is the way to go. I looked into a BSN or MSN program that takes other bachelor degrees but those programs are $50,000 or more. The schools that I decided to attend (LPN and an LPN-BSN) will cost me under $30,000 everything included.

I just became a CNA in March and I am considering getting my LPN license this fall. I would agree about doing the LPN route first if you are unsure about becoming a nurse lol. They are in the position to provide great quality care and the pay is good. This video was very helpful & I like how you mentioned that nursing school is not easy because the amount of stress that I’ve accumulated for just becoming a nurse aide was a lot. 😭 New subscriber 💞

The one thing I did was kept my grades to myself and if I barely passed. I applauded myself 👏👏👏. I never looked to be an "A" student, I was just proud enough to have accomplished a goal ..But the biggest thing is always give yourself grace and go at your own speed. I just finished and passed my NCLEX! I am so glad to be done. I got a job in the hospital on a step down unit. I nervous but I know I have what it takes. Keep pressing. Oh and I just found a sorority for LPN's only Lambda Psi Nu..... ok I think tha is all lol.. Goid luck everyone you can do it!

Dedicated to quality care and professionalism, continuing education, certification, and lifelong learning. It helps with networking opportunities and fellowship. I did! I took the entry exam it wasn’t bad after I studied I failed some subjects the first time. Passed the second and I took the hesi fundamentals and pharmacology exams, both were easy to understand with studying,

Can LPN’s only work in nursing homes? I’ve been so confused about this. I worked at a nursing home as a nurse assistant and my experience was so so awful there that I’ve been badly traumatized and I honestly really don’t ever want to end up working in a nursing home again. But I’d really like to become an LPN…
