Oh hooo ohh dont get me started i may be a mix of a dunmer and redguard. I to this day am a a follower of topal the pilot. As did my grandfather. And if topal say an ( insert fantasy racial expletive here) Are nothing more than goblins then by auriels balls! They are goblins! Plus if you understand basic science you can see that they have similar intelligence,wit and most of all physiology. It has come to the attention of the underground scientific community of pyandnea(yes im in pyandnea) that not only do the all round bone and organ structure of orcs match goblins but more importantly and unmistakably the sculls are a confirmed match! This was confirmed when we found a gobiln totum believed to be from the dawn era in a cave in the nibney basin. This scull displayed two main differences. A wider lower jaw and molars. And lower thicker brow ridges. Both consistent with ancient orcs and eye sockets and nose bridge consistent with goblins. When compared the two matched both. But most importantly to this day both modern orcs and goblins have the same brain and scull case size it just sometimes looks bigger in orcs because of better diet and more muscle mass.😂 this is no joke im deadly serious. Orcs are simply goblins that are supposed to represent the top of their family tree. But given the fact they display basically the same behaviours. As far as it goes mer may have evolved first and men second but we at the topal university of pyandnea can say with confidence that orcs entered there stone age only by the time neads had settled the last corner of tamriel. What catches my attention about Orc architecture is its impracticality among a warlike people who've proven themselves skilled craftsmen. Everything is flammable, surprisingly hard to replace and incapable of stopping siege engine attacks, which the capture of Whiterun proved Nords (not to mention what masters of such technology Imperials must be) are very capable of, even moving the engines through rough terrain (I think they might be able to be disassembled and reassembled for portability). It was good reasons stone was a popular material to make castles of in real life for centuries and the technology is widespread in ES, possibly even having magical assistance. Similarly, Orc armor badly impairs flexibility and mobility, something important for such a people as Orcs, and is more likely to injure oneself or one's fellows than harm an enemy, judging by the shape.
