about Aegyo - in Korea it's acting 'cutesy', as someone said before me. It's not something Hoseok do in his private life, it's only for fans, for broadcasting, because Aegyo is popular in Korea and fans were requesting it . He said that at the beginning he didn't like to do it at all. Personally I don't like it too, but i try to understand it, because it's a part of Korean culture or something.

your mostly right but aegyo can also be used in general, like if two people are talking and someone does something purposely cute they call it aegyo. Or sometimes someone will do something cute and the other person will say as joke :are u doing aegyo right now?"

So the one clip was JHope going to talk to the Japanese dancers. Sometimes when their traveling and doing random televised performances and not on actual tour. They will hire back up dancers in country and teach them the dance just because it's cheaper than having to fly around dancers as well. Usually artists are tired enough and famous enough and don't really interact with these dancers they're probably only going to dance with one time and don't speak the same language anyway, but Jhope went to their waiting room because he loves talking to dancers and also was learning Japanese and wanted to try and talk with them, even if he only knew a few things. They couldn't show the whole clip but he actually stayed and talked with them and got them to teach him more Japanese.

This video is all right , but it could be better. It doesn't show much of his serious side when he's working. It doesn't show him in the studio writing/producing songs for example, but he has been involved in writing for BTS since the beginning. Now He has 79 songs accredited to his name at KOMCA (The Korea Music Copyright Association). Hoseok is one of the main songwriters in BTS. The other are of course RM and Suga, everybody knows that, but jhope is very often omitted when people talk about songwriting in BTS. Anyway I find this kind of info more important that the fact that he is scared of many things...

@@uvayakone9281 I know he won many local awards and also national dance competition first prized in 2008. He was very popular among all the trainees. I can't remember exact year he became a trainee at big hit but he said he joined when he was in highschool so could be at age 14 or 15. Online it says 2010 but I think it has to be before that since in burn the stage (2017) Suga spoke about living with JHope for 8 years, whereas, with RM for 7-8 years. In his logs he said he said he officially moved to Seoul in 2010 tho. This is random lol but do you remember Jo Kwon's Animal song where JHope featured rapping in it in 2012 predebut? Did you know Mr.Son (BTS choreo director) was the one who choreographed the dance? I just watched their dance practice today and Mr. Son is also the backup dancer in it, JHope is there too. Not sure if you have watched it.

I'm so glad you're getting to know each of them. One of the reasons us ARMY love them so much is because of their personalities. Once you are familiar with them, you;ll see how their personal stories and sincerity shine through their music and albums. Maybe at some point you'll get into the Music Videos and theories behind the storylines. I look forward to that :) Also 'aegyo' is when they act cutesy. Kpop idols are usually asked to do aegyo on variety shows to show their more endearing, cute side. Its more for the k-fans really. Though BTS can be quite chaotic, you'll see they're not this cutesy usually. 'Hyung' is an older brother and 'dongsaeng' refers to younger siblings. They treat each other like real family, so you'll see they call each other using these terms.

J-Hope originally wanted to sing in BTS and Taehyung (V) was supposed to be the rapper. Taehyung wanted to be a singer so J-Hope tried is best to learn how to rap for Taehyung :(
