I'm a 64 yo man, but when I listen to this guy I feel a tickle in my belly and it makes me giggle. Not in a mocking way. I've had 50 years of experience to let me know God, so experience and faith are enough for me. So the information Dr. Ross offers is just the icing on the cake, which is, in my experience is very characteristic of the omniscient, omnipresent, so loving and merciful God.

The wonderful aspect of Dr Ross’s lectures, is that you know the information he provides has been critically analyzed. His lectures and facts are not just pulled out of his imagination to justify his belief in God; his lectures are carefully designed, full of detailed scientific data that he has studied and researched for decades, and which have verified his faith in God. He shows that scientific knowledge and careful historical research exists, which verifies and fortifies our faith, if we choose to fully understand, embrace and love God and his role in the Universe.

As a Muslim I love your videos Dr, God Almighty bless all and everyone
@boxelder9167 Жыл бұрын
I still remember the first time I read the Quran and found out that as it was describing what Christians believed and I noticed that what it says about what they believe is not what they believe. Then I noticed that as Christians and Muslims debate the Muslims are arguing as if the Christians believe what the Quran says they believe. There’s similar details but the stories are more like mirror opposites of what the Quran said vs what the Bible says. Since Muhammad was illiterate he had never read the Bible for himself and would have had to go by what someone else had told him it said. After seeing this I now understood why Christians and Muslims would never be able to agree with each other. The claim is that the Bible was corrupted but it never told the version that Muhammad said it told. I always wondered if the Muslims started reading the Bible if they would see that discrepancy between the two narratives or if they would just write it off as more of the Bible’s corruption. I would think if Mohammed was going to write about the Bible being corrupted that he would have given the evidence from what it actually says and not a different version from what the Bible says when the Bible never said that. That seems to me to be the whole conflict between the two religions. Neither is aware of what the other actually believes and they are arguing against what they think the other believes without reading the actual book. Peace on your journey through life and may God bless you abundantly with wisdom and favor.

Dr. Hugh, If God is that infinitesimallyy small dot from where the big bang is thought to have happened, but with the capacity to be in control and be all knowing, will it make Him any less significant?
@carminefragione4710 Жыл бұрын
Actually to traverse the expanse of the Cosmos, and escape all control and behave independently of the material world, you must shrink into a such a tiny small factor, that you can slip through the time space continuum and traverse the whole Cosmos instantly, without friction , not being trapped by any net or filter that could catch your mass and hold it at bay. So the Quantum Physics shows that being smaller and so small that you are not controlled by Space Time or Theory of Relativity , not held by any friction due to gravity, and so as a very small thing, you can slip through any boundaries, exit the material world, move through unseen dimensions and instantly reappear billions of light years away, without even a fragment of a second of time, but instantly . Thus our connection to God, as Jesus said "THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU". there is something so small yet meaningful inside your complexity, small like the Mustard Seed, , as it is Faith relevant, there is a property of your soul linked to very small things, an inside realism of eternal consequences, that takes you, as a soul through a doorway to Heaven, which really is all just a heartbeat away, the smallest of all things, is closer to God than all the mass of the Material World. You do not approach God by going outside of yourself to attain any great matter, you come through the door, passing through Jesus, who is now seen inside your dreams and visions, and leading you into a very tiny passageway, like pushing a Camel through the Eye of the Needle. The really small things are closer to God, than the heavyweights, and that is the true secret of the Nature of God.

And yet with all this talk about being 'transcendent' and 'immanent', God is still defined as a "He" by the bible. Every Bible scholar in history so far failed to explain what use an entity who was neither born nor gives birth (as any animal would) have for sex/gender... Sure, you can try to explain it by metaphorically having the traits of a male corporeal being but again, why should God be limited to THAT, pray tell? God being described as a white bearded white guy (ehm, Zeus/Odin) is not God's doing of course. Just as Moses' flock had to make idols to well, 'idolize' Yahweh, early Christians had to come up with something tangible and 'bite-size' to represent God too. The Bible in its original form has been lost to history. Centuries of 'interpretations', reinterpretations, councils of 'wise men' (!!!), powerful old men sitting on guilded thrones made sure of that. I myself lived for years near Nicaea, where the first 'council' met to decide "what Christianity should be like". Not God, not Jesus, ordinary men who succumbed to the sin of pride, thinking they could better the word of God! I do not know if the original bible also claimed that God was a 'male', but if that's the case, believing in an outlandish 'Annunaki Conspiracy' would seem much more sensible to me than believing in a singular creator of the universe who suffers no rivals and has no equals or relatives of any kind to have a gender. Gender!!! By all means, keep believing that Christianity is the 'one true faith' for all anyone cares. You wouldn't be the first. But if you want to do better, open your minds and dare to question I say! God will love you more for bringing down its idols and not portraying it as a jacked old men with a silly beard! If you want to speak of trancendence, make sure to transcend yourself first!
@grannygrunt52114 ай бұрын
The Bible says there is no gender in heaven..... But the Bible does portray God as a powerful male figure.... And I really don't know how to explain that except you need to read the Bible.... Even when we pray to God we say our father in heaven.... God is one that created the physical family here on Earth he made Adam first which was a male... And then made Eve female.... There is a archangel in heaven to his name is Michael........ And another angel named Gabriel.... These are all male names although there is no sex in heaven.... Their spirits... But God is our creator......
@grannygrunt52114 ай бұрын
I definitely believe with all my heart that Christianity is the one true faith..... And God our heavenly father sent his one and only begotten son to die for our sins so that we could be saved. I know that I know that I know that I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ....

Mr. Ras, your discussion about Islam and God's situation with his creation is completely wrong(18':19"). I will suggest you only 1 or 2 out of over 1000 verses, "God is closer to you than the jugular vein" - "He is the first and the last, the external and the internal, he ;knows everything" . searching them will be your obligation(for help chapter 57 - Iron).
