Lorne Michaels was asked way back in the Clinton days why SNL rarely pokes fun at the Democrats and he said liberals have no sense of humor. They can't laugh at themselves, but Republicans can. Even back then hen they poked fun at Clinton it was still in a good ay. Unlike the brutal and ugly way they go after Republicans. It's night and day how they lampoon the two sides. Reminds me of Jonathan Haidt. The media and left in general think they are the ones informed, but Haidt talks about the actual reality. Dems and people on the left have no clue and cannot state the conservative view. Whereas those on the right can clearly state the right & left wing view. Even truck driving rednecks can clearly state left vs. right.
