She couldn’t remember when or where it happened and the people who she named couldn’t corroborate her claims. As for drinking, maybe he lied about that, but a Supreme Court appointment is political. It doesn’t seem relevant to me. I would assume that you don’t consider Judge Brown Jackson being obtuse about what a woman is relevant. But her supporters are in power so she’s getting the job. That’s how this works.
