@@1600-i6p There is a problem. The solution is to use or create alternatives to the private organizations that create the private sector side of the problem. The other part of the solution is to stop voting for the people in government who created the government side of the problem. It doesn't matter if I know how to create a given business or not. Plenty of people who have created successful businesses didn't know how to do so until they decided to go for it. Google manipulating elections, or KZbin manipulating who sees what, or Facebook censoring content is not going to be solved tomorrow. There are simple things that can be done to remove power from these companies. They are only as ubiquitous as we allow them to be. It may take effort to stop using these services (I've cut out most of my usage, and I am working on the rest), but if the companies are so problematic, maybe it's worth putting in the work.

Well, if they were to eliminate property tax, estate tax, hobby licensing, liberty licensing, and yard sale licensing, then reduce and localize business licensing fees, and change over to a solid capital backed currency (gold, silver, copper, hemp, etc.), corporatism would fail, and capitalism would see a massive resurgence. nk, just because KZbin has distributed contributors doesn’t mean KZbin is just a platform immune from the liabilities of a publisher. By choosing to regulate content based upon viewpoints, KZbin has become a publisher. KZbin may claim its criteria are objective and applied without prejudice, but it’s a false claim. This is obvious when content and even contributors get blocked without clearly stated reasons. The dawn of the internet and social media has forever changed the way we consume information and how we exercise our 1st amendment rights. Big tech companies do need regulations. You can make the argument that individuals who do not subscribe or agree with certain political should simply not utilize these platforms, however, these platforms have become an integrate part of most individuals lives and therefore control the information input of the masses. With this is mind, I do believe that all forms of media should be regulated by a single policy that forces the protection of our freedom of speech. When put in perspective, even though these companies are private sector, the control they have is really no different that that of China or North Korea. Last, other companies have regulations for doing business in their respective spaces so why should media and tech be any different? If you don't believe tech companies control the information you consume, create a proton email account and a gmail account. Spend an hour on one account looking for articles about conservatives and then spend an hour looking for articles about progressives on the other account. Look at the dates the articles were published. Or watch a donald trump speech and then watch CNNs coverage vs Fox News coverage here on KZbin.
