I was getting ready for my special, precious niece's funeral today, and Reba came on, and of course I watched, because I love her show! I didn't even know it was on back when it was. So she started singing this song and of course I broke into a million tears, because I love love my niece so much. She was such a part of my life and I was such a part of hers, and an untimely death. We don't get to control the goodbyes - but we can control when we want to cry an awe moment of yesteryear that we wouldn't trade anything for too. It's ok to cherish memories and it's okay to miss yesteryear too.
