Rebalancing a Dimensional Nail Design | How Much?

The one big thing I have learned from Melissa and the young nails team that has actually really helped my business is paying attention to how I word things or what I call certain products, if I say dimensional nails versus encapsulated glitter nails clients are more intrigued I also charge more for "dimensional" nails. If I say rebalance instead of fill, clients think they are getting more then just a fill, if I say I'm "changing" the pH of their nails when prepping they believe they are getting more then just basic prep, theirs so many more but I've realized your words make a huge difference and can make you more money🤷🏻‍♀️ I hope I'm making sense😂 some are gonna comment saying I'm ripping people off but no my clients are very happy paying what they do because my nails last and have way more style then most nail salons where I'm from so yes I charge what I'm worth and for what I'm doing🤷🏻‍♀️

This doesn’t have anything to do with this video but I have been seeing nail techs say they do not do back fill with smile lines. What does that mean?

A backfill with smile lines generally means that they would fill in the regrowth area by the cuticle, and they would also cut in a new smile line for a French manicure. Cutting in the new smile line generally happens 4 to 6 weeks after the original set because the smile line has grown out and needs to be repositioned. If a nail tech says that they do not backfill with smile lines, this most likely would mean that they don’t cut in a new smile line rather, they just fill in the regrowth area and rebalance the structure of the nail.
