"She's not bad. She just has a bloody agenda, darling." Bene Gesserit in a nutshell.
@happyninja427 ай бұрын
nah, they're....pretty awful as an organization. Willing to manipulate, assassinate, and blackmail anyone and everyone to get what they want. Perfectly happy to seed various primitive cultures with their own fabricated religious doctrines, specifically tailored to provide any Bene Gesseritt who might interact with that culture, leverage to manipulate and utilize them to their own ends. And as evidenced in the first book alone, happy to unleash a galactic wave of blood via said manipulated culture. They're definitely bad guys. They're not the ONLY bad guys in the story, far from it. But they are not the "good" guys, not by half.

If you sign Rebecca Fergunson for your movie, not only you get an amazing actress, you also get a natural born PR who will handle the press and single handed do more to promote your movie than the entire cast and crew combined.

Spot on. Cate Blanchett and her cast in a film would be chemistry amplified I feel. To your point, the press tour would be hilariously off the rails fun to watch.

@@hallaja8338 It's not her fault, really. Each interviewer only gets 5 minutes to ask their questions and they are very strict about it because so many other interviewers are waiting to ask questions. So, she didn't want to start off his interview by taking away his time. It was just a way to tell her story and not hamstring the nice man.

It's really fun and I'm glad to see how enthusiastically all the great actors are doing their pre-release public relations interviews and events. They are all so thoroughly positive and appreciative of each other and their shared process that it would be shocking if Dune 2 weren't excellently epic. Great human works are done through close collaborations, usually through groups acting nearly simultaneously or at least together in the same project, but sometimes only with past creators of the underlying knowledge and technology. We are fortunate that these amazing professionals in all aspects of this film (series) melded all the related arts and skills as effectively as anyone to date. The trilogy should have significant cultural impact for generations. May the cast and crew prosper in good health through the completion of Messiah at the very least!

Why is she so good in interviews but so bad in the movies? In Dune part one she was only crying and looking into nothing. Maybe Dune part one is just a commercial fot something or a 3 hour trailer for part two.
@princesscherry52176 ай бұрын
in most of the first film, paul & his mother are dealing with losing the entirety of their people & their beloved husband & dad…… how do you expect her to act?
@mirjavidmirzayev58546 ай бұрын
@@princesscherry5217 I understand your point. And i would agree, but this is a movie. Showing reactions and emotions is good. But then you should show everyone crying in every drama where somebody beloved dies, all the time. I am missing some good acting from her even in Mission Impossible. I was confused when i saw Mrs. Davis and thought she can really act. Until i realized it‘s not her. Maybe there are some good movies with her. I am open for them.

Don't you dare forget that SLQ is a doting MOTHER in real life too. Her daughter did an adorable thing the other day. Everyone has to know that. SLQ needs to tell it while wearing an expensive sexy leather jacket because she's a big-time actress (who can't act). I feel sorry for whoever has the misfortune of calling this object "mommy."
@eviloldlady34277 ай бұрын
what are u on about
@jackie-qn1bv7 ай бұрын
@@eviloldlady3427 SLQ is short for Sexy Lamp Quasimodo, which is fitting for her because she's a Sexy Lamp in most of her films and she looks like Quasimodo. Here she's feigning surprise while wearing an expensive leather jacket and acting all adorable and sexy while telling a funny story about her daughter. She's using her identity to get small-minded people like you on her side. She's reminding you she's a white woman who adheres to traditional femininity and is entitled to everything that entails, like being protected by men. Everything this creature does is a calculated act to protect her status as a white woman in this society. Just watch her behavior behind the scenes where she openly objectifies herself and flirts with directors. Also watch any of her roles where she portrays all the negative stereotypes of women under the sun.
