My wife has a weird girl crush on Rebecca Ferguson, which I can kind of understand. @@TheBackFocus 7:39 Note that there are *zero* interviews with her and Hugh Grant. John Stewart said he would "never" have Grant back on his daily Comedy Central show, after an appearance by the actor in 2009. In an onstage Q&A Stewart said Grant was his least favorite guest because he was disrespectful to his staff and to John. "And we've had dictators on the show," he said. Hugh admitted that he "did a Christian Bale" on the set of Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and yelled at a woman who he thought "was some executive from the studio who should have known better." As a side note, I find her so mind-numbingly attractive in Doctor Sleep (the hat...her in the hat just does something to me) but since having kids I can no longer watch kids getting hurt or worse in movies so have never been able to fully watch this flick. Glad you mentioned Emily Blunt, who I had managed to ignore until seeing her in "Edge of Tomorrow". She had the role of a woman soldier who relives her own death every day over and over. That she was able to convey the effect that would have on someone was very impressive. It would require some thought and empathy and a little creativity too since that's not a situation you get in many parts. Now, when I see her in something, it's easy to see the craft and talent in her work. Pretty too, and not "made-up, dressed-up" pretty but "real woman pretty".

I absolutely adore Rebecca. My love for her crept up on me but now I have a full-blown fixation with her. Not only is she uniquely beautiful and an effortlessly funny/charismatic person, but she's also such a talented actress. She's instantly captivating no matter what role she's playing, and I'm so happy to see that her career is on fire right now Also, on the "call sheet" issue: I believe #1 on the call sheet means whoever is at the top of list of the cast called to the set that day, not whoever the top billed actor is. So the Hugh Grant rumor could very well be true

Her role as Rose the Hat was where I fell in love with her. And now I watch everything that comes out with her. And I think it was Hugh Grant who yelled at her.

"Another mini-series she did called The Red Tent" is the only thing mentioned about that show and/or her performance in it, but alas, it's the one I would recommend to watch the most if you're looking for more material of her acting abilities. What she gives us there is basically a masterclass in acting. While it may be my favourite performance from Rebecca, it seems very underrated since practically no one else talks about it. I find that a real shame..

I saw her for the first time in "LIfe". What a wonderful surprise of a sci-fi movie. Next I saw her as that villain in "Dr Sleep" and scared the bejesus out of me. Very versatile actor. The first Dune had such a bad reputation (my friend destroying his dvd because he hate it so much!), that I am hesitant to watching it.

She had a little bit of a drama here in Sweden. She was being interview by a major Swedish channel and was really mad that the interviewer wanted to do the interview in Swedish and not English (referring to her not speaking Swedish a lot in her daily life anymore). So a lot of people saw that as diva behaviour. I think I agree, it should not come as a surprise to her that Swedish media of course wants to have the interview in Swedish, especially if it's being filmed. But at the same time I find her absolutely magnetic in her movies, as well as really fun in other English-speaking interviews.

Thank God, it reminded me that Rebecca Ferguson is human after all, with both light and darkness within her. Not the perfect, flawless image that (some) fans always dream of but are ready to hate when that person is not what they want.
