Met my husband in youth/college age group at church. Started dating in Jan, engaged in April, married in August all same year! A baby one year later. There have been hard seasons. Year two and five were hard but just celebrated 20 years ! Four kids later😊

I am grateful for the older women in my church who talked to me about marriage and our pastors for the premarital counseling. It helped us to not have unrealistic or overly romanticized expectations about marriage. I think for me in particular, it helped me not to panick whenever we have come acroos issues and differences. I ALWAYS remind myself that we will work it out and get through it, and over the last short 7 years, we have been jumping over the hurdles hand-in-hand. May God grant us the grace to keep it that way till death do us part.

Rebecca said something POWERFUL not just about Marriage but about Our Relationship with God: "The Call has to be filled by an Obedient Person." For Me Personally, I've felt that Marriage is part of The Call on My Life. I've asked Him to make The Choice for Me, for what HE sees that I not only Desire but what I NEED to fulfill My Destiny with Him. And what GOD puts Together, NOBODY can tear about. God and His Bride. Myself and My Future Bride. Same/same. So much to this but what God put on My Heart was this - Do The WORK! For Me that means a couple of things but for each of Us, it's different. SO MUCH TO THIS CONVERSATION!!! For such a Time as THIS...THANK YOU JESUS!!!

Its amazimg how videos like this have often times the LEAST amount of views, likes, and comments. Being married 6 years and together for 15years I can tell anyone out there my sisters, brothers, that everything thats talked about on Better Together on TBN is absolutely true. Such great content💙

I am so blessed by this conversation. I needed this real talk to guide my prayers. Like Rebecca said, I was one who tried to put my prayers about marriage to the side. The Lord Jesus wouldn't let me get away with that. Trusting and believing, in Christ Jesus...Amen.

Something I would love to hear addressed is the spouse that becomes a prodigal. Because it takes both spouses to be in obedience to the word of God. One can walk away from their faith & family, while the other spouse does not have a choice. However, the good news is God has called that spouse to remain single or be reconciled back to their spouse. Standing in the gap for their husband or wife & interceding for them to come back to the Father & back inside God’s will for their life. Coming home to their spouse & children. I pray for all hurting marriages, that by faith God will move the mountain of separation/divorce & restore broken families for God’s glory.🙏🕊 nothing is impossible for Him🙌

My marriage is in such utter shambles. We have been together 20 yrs 13 of that married. All we do is argue and fight anymore. I am reaching out to God and seeking him through this reason in our life. We have a 12 yr old daughter who is being affected by this and it just breaks my heart I don't want her to see marriage like this. Anyways if you could just pray for us it would be greatly appreciated. I pray Gods Might will be done in this situation in Jesus' Mighty and Precious Name I pray Amen

It didn't really have anything to do with being ethnic or large. But more to due with being toxic and dysfunctional. Because those things take place throughout the world. Sometimes we tend to act as if something only belong to the group we fit in. But that isn't really the case. We are more alike than we would like to admit or acknowledge.

I didnt grow up with a Godly marriage example, & before I truly knew God/Jesus/the Holy Spirit, I was married & divorced 3 times, then married a 4th. My 4th husband & I were married for 10 grueling years before we asked God into our marriage & every day life. Now for the past 5 years, we're following Christ & our marriage is wonderful every single day, even when we disagree! 🙌🏻🥳❤️

@1:30 - Im so thankful that God loves even the heavier set sweating persons struggling and trying to stay cool. Often folks who carry physical weight are carrying trauma & spiritual weight. Be mindful. Always interesting for those with their own imperfections to deflect (and make faces at others). Yours may or may not show in body weight, but it does in other distortions… The beginning of this chat is displeasing, and not as life giving as most other chats that are hosted.

Is she saying that God has a wife? I can’t find that in the scriptures.
@BlessedTemi11 ай бұрын
I believe she’s referring to marriage between man and woman being a reflection of Christ and the church. This is the mystery that the Apostle Paul explains with same language in Ephesians 5:22-32. It is also in alignment with the promise given in Revelation, that Christ is returning for His bride/wife which is also the church.
