My daughter eats cilantro like salad, we call it coriander in Englnd. Just coriander on it's own. I grow them and they don't grow fast enough for her.

They eat purslane in the western U.S. It grows wild in some places. I don't see it in the Eastern U.S.

I think they will love it....and my D. loves fresh Peas....and these brownies look so delicious.....I hope she makes most of this for her Pot Luck this Sun. I bet even the Men would like the Brownies....will let you know if she makes them.... She doesn't like to try new recipes to take to her Pot Luck. without making them & trying them first...we love Mexican Food too, and who doesn't like Guacamole & Brownies....?? All of those recipes look delicious! Can't wait to try them all! Was the salsa homemade as well? Can you recommend a good brand for salsa or pico de gallo? Also, regarding cilantro tasting like soap to some people: read an article last year somewhere that some people actually have genetic differences with respect to taste buds and that's why cilantro tastes like soap to them. I don't recall complete specifics (scientific study) but I think that's the gist of it. Thank you!

It’s genetic. Some people have genes that makes it taste like soap. Many don’t and I love the taste.

Or try mustard greens diced fine, cilantro has a bit of a kick (unless you have that gene, cilantro=soap
