Its hard. I had a bad falling out with my crack head brother. He said real ugly things to me and it made it so easy to let him go. Wks past and he messaged he was hungry. I asked where I can have food delivered and he said there's no address bc he had been sleeping on the streets. I was still heartless but I agreed to take him food on my lunch break. I broke down when I saw him. The drugs made this 40 yr old man look like a thin little boy. I couldn't go back to work knowing he didn't have a place to sleep. I got him a month at a hotel paid and when I say I went through hell and back to get him sober again, would be an understatement. It was brutal. He finally got clean, moved to a diff state and has a great gf. Sometimes, they need that 1 person to not give up, even though they've given up. That 1 person can always make a difference.

People watch these channels in fascination, just like watching the scenes of staving children from other countries - from the comfort of their home while munching. It doesn't matter if you 'wish them well' or 'send positivity' if that's the only thing you're going to do. If you care, then you should be out there yourself, sharing a meal and a conversation. There is nothing wrong with helping those in need. But when a person feels the need to document their 'kindness' and then post it - the motives become pretty clear. @@wesleyAlan9179 it's profitable for Rebecca to avail herself to Mark. She made that apparent at the end of the interview, that she abruptly ended. When I saw my first video of Rebecca I was taken by her Innocence but she's not really innocent and the reason she moves around the city so much is probably because she's running from petty crimes she's committed. I lived in a city with a huge homeless population. Many homeless stake out a territory they stay in. They become part of the local color. Many local residents and businesses look out for them. But the transient part of the homeless community are more mobile because they become known for their petty property crimes, hence they move around to avoid the homeless they've ripped off or to avoid being picked up by the police for a property crime. There's little to no trustworthiness on the streets. Also, the young homeless tend to create families and they can be quite ruthless even violent, especially to older homeless people.

I met Rebecca about a year ago when she was in Canada. I was in the hospital visiting someone, and she was in the waiting room in the ER chatting me up, she was so kind and warm. We got to talking and I was sad to hear she knew my dad of whom is also addicted to fentanyl and is homeless around here. She didn’t look nearly this bad when I saw her. It’s crazy how fast things change. Get well soon Rebecca, you kind soul.

@@asil0072 I think Rebecca has been slightly deceptive about where her family is. She has mentioned growing up in New York, Paris, she mentioned her mom is back working in “the city” ( common here in Brooklyn for NYC) . This breaks my heart. She seems so broken but more than usual. I'm always hoping she'll take Mark's help & go home. She's such a beautiful soul.
