Stepping Out of the Spiritual Closet 😳😱😆

In this episode, I share my experience of stepping out of the spiritual closet.
The journey can be both isolating and empowering.
I know how challenging it can be when you first awaken or open yourself up to the deeper questions of life. I’ve been there and know, from experience, it can feel like living a double life. Today, I share how I began, little by little, stepping out of the spiritual closet. The work for me was really around weaving my worlds together, knowing and trusting that not only would I find like-hearted people - but also that I would attract those people into my life too. My hope in hearing my story is that you’ll be encouraged to embrace and embody who you truly are too.

I know that before I found the Sanctuary I felt so very alone. There were days when I just cried from the bottom of my heart. I had never been so alone. Moving back to South Carolina where the Bible Belt is so huge. Once I found the Sanctuary it was the happiest day of my life. From your meditation and books I realized I was never alone ❤💙💜🌹🌻

I think it's a very common experience to have that disconnect sensation while going through a spiritual awakening and evolution. Eckhart Tolle described it as feeling like you're living a double life or being in a no-man's land. I've been going through this myself, trying to transition from a corporate IT career to a reiki practice.
