Who else started to laugh when she said adrenaline packed ? Knowing the origins of the song

Most people who are not well knowledgeable on the band don't know the origin of the song. Correct me if I am wrong though. This song was inspired by the drug over dose of Nikki Six. The "Kick start my heart" part is about the times the medics had to shock Nikki's heart when it stopped several times.

Rebecca, The vocal FX applied to guitar is the so called "talk box": sound travells from guitar speake thru a pvc hose pointed to player's vocal cavity (the hose cuts some freqs produceing low fi sound). There, vocal cavity is used like a human wah to change the resonance, like when you talk open Wide just in front of a fan proppeller. Finally, the resoulting sound is reamped by the vocal mic attached to the hose in front of the players mouth. Freaking guitar gizmo.

It's not a motor bike. That, my darling, is Mick Mars' guitar. His guitar has a Floyd Rose bridge and it changes pitch depending on how hard you push down on the bar. He made an illusion of a motorcycle shifting gear. A cool addition to a kickass song. The story behind the song is Nikki Six (bassist) had overdosed on heroin and was legally declared dead for two minutes because he had no pulse. One of the paramedics that arrived on the scene was a Motley Crue fan and he injected two shots of adrenaline into Nikki's heart and he woke up. Nikki left the hospital that same night and overdosed AGAIN! But he luckily woke up the next morning.

I heard "Looks That Kill" by them. Got the cassette and stuck with it for a couple years. When their third album came out, I found out they had a first album so I went to that. 1 and 2 probably still basically their stuff I liked. At that time it was more bands coming out. Casey Kasem did America's Top 40 on tv with bands showing up, and he was Shaggy on Scooby-doo for years... I get distracted and change topics a lot haha... He used to cover a lot, and lots of mixes... kzbin.info/www/bejne/r5KTZ6lrZdWkf8k

So good to see you back at it love. Hope you're well and dan-day. Grew up on Motley Crue and others like them - wrecked my voice as a teen doing this crazy stuff. Was a heck of a fun time to grow up, can tell you; great to see you cover classics like this.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the 80's best of times and music. I so miss them! So much fun! Great bands such as Motley Crue etcetc and the pub scene in Australia as well!! So glad I grew up in that era! Yeah getting older sucks in a way, but I wouldn't change a damn thing! Sad to think the younger generations will never know those times by experiences. Or all of those great bands, and far more simpler fun times as well. The 90's was fun too!

I really think you would love "Misunderstood" from the 1994 album. Vince Neil left the band and was replaced by John Corabi. The album was heavily underrated as well as Corabi's vocal performance. A truly hidden gem.

In 1989 I had a 455 Firebird with 1500 watts of Alpine & Boston Acoustic in it. This song won me a Sound Off stereo competition. The beginning is unreal with the bass line & background. .

I have a 2010 Escape with all Alpine except two 12" Diamond subs with 800w RMS each, 4 door speakers with 105w RMS each for a grand total of 2020 watts. When I crank it up it literally moves your hair. 🤘😆

so happy to hear a professional say that Vince Neil's voice is actually technical and good, most peoplesay he's just average or less Hope you do other Motley Crue songs, but there's so much good ones, most famous would be : Smoking in the boys room, live wire, Same old situation, Girls girls girls, Home sweet home (ballad), looke that kill, without you (ballad), too young to fall in love, you're all I need, Dr Feelgood ...

Mick Mars, the guitarist, lived in my hometown of Huntington, Indiana until he was 9 when his family moved to California. His grandmother lived a couple blocks from me and he'd come back to visit her on occasion. His real name is Bob Deal.

I never thought he was a good singer, could never produce the goods live either. John Corabi was a much better singer for Motley Crue, I don't care how unpopular that opinion is.

Between your English accent and your stunning looks, I find myself on your channel just as often to admire you as I do to hear your reaction and break downs of the songs. Good thing you’re on the other side of a very large pond or I may have tried to sign up for a lesson and I can’t even begin to sing.

The saddest part: Vince RUINED his voice by never warming up properly. In the last few years he's gotten really out of shape physically, can't remember most of the words, and isn't the same guy he was. I wish he'd taken better care of himself and his voice.
@AK007773 жыл бұрын
I've seen him a couple of times in the last several years. It was obvious they turned his mic down and the music up to cover up his lack of range these days.
