First time I saw them was the first of year 1985 for Perfect Strangers in Dallas TX at Reunion Arena and then later that summer again at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas where the headlined the 85 TEXXAS JAMM with the Scorpions, Night Ranger, Ted Nugent and a few others. Great Time to be alive in Dallas TX, the music scene was unbelievable then. I have had the pleasure of seeing them a few times since, but those first two shows still walk in my dreams. Great Reaction ! Perfect Strangers is still one of my top 10 albums I still listen too . KEEP ROCKIN !

Great reaction to a great song! This song and album were a huge comeback for them since they broke up in the mid seventies. I feel so blessed to have been there for some of these monumental musical events that happened in the 80s.

Saw them again in the late 90s at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver with their new line up on the Bananas Tour🍌 Deep Purple once again put on a stellar show, Thin Lizzy opened for them and well my ears are still recovering as most concert goers walked out into the lobby as they were way too friggin loud for the size of the room.

When they started the tour for perfect strangers they didn't know how they would be accepted after being apart for so long. But, they had to add 2 and 3 shows to alot of stops, cause they were selling out. So,I'd say they were accepted pretty well. Yeah. Peace

Great song considering ian Gillian is now 77 and the other chaps are also with the exception of Steve morse all in their 70s Steve morse will be 70 next year what a fabulous milestone. The band is still touring , they've been together 55years amazing effect...

It's really sad that all y'all which I call a few that really likes deep purple they made a couple of good hits in their time but they're nothing to brag about I'm 58 years old I saw every concert and only man came to Atlanta and there's a hell of a lot of other groups out there could be number one groups keep on trying my friends I can understand her she's young but I can't understand some of y'all it's just like iron maiden there ain't no worst group in the world sucks more than them and kiss. AC/DC journey, The Beatles of course the rolling Stones Ozzy Osbourne David gilmour Pink Floyd led Zeppelin Van Halen the list goes on and on.
