Nice job! I need to get one of those SnapJacks for my Rebel road kit. I have a Pit Bull rear stand for working on the bike at home, but lubing the chain on the road is tricky. The Rebel 1100 is a heavy bike, so rolling it forward & back just to lube the chain is a pain. I have similar off-road stands for my ADV bikes, but they aren't beefy enough (or short enough) for the Rebel's weight. A good safety trick is to wear your riding glove on the hand that you're using to snap the jack up/down. At least you'll have a buffer in between your skin and the metal chomper! Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

Scottoiler do a vac system which uses the fuel evap system to oil the chain using a T piece adapter to the vacuum side of the system to supply the negative pressure for the Scottoiler pump system. I am using a Tutoro which uses the bumps in the roads to operate a small pump which supplies the Scottoil in the reservoir to the chain.

I swear... one of the things I'm finding after watching your videos is that I somehow always end up buying something new. These videos are getting dangerous for my wallet! LOL ... but another great video! I recall you mentioning in the past that you always lube your chain after so many miles and knowing that you take some rather long trips, was wondering how you managed that on the road. I literally just ordered a pitbull rear lift yesterday and am now wondering if I could've just gotten away with this for lubing the chain. Very cool lift. Hope it'll fit in my fork bag.
@ontherebel11 Жыл бұрын
Hi Spryttle! Great to hear from you! I changed the way I carry the jack and chain lube while touring, I now place them in a bottle holder that I used to use for a fuel bottle, made my life so much easier while on the road, so size wise it might fit in your fork bag, just be mindful of the weight and sharp edges. 🤙
