Rebel Buddhas rock!! We all have this within ourselves if we dare to speak out and act out when confronted by dogma and bureaucracies that do not resonate with what we know to be true. In my experience, that's where the joy lies. Rebel Buddhas can lead us toward enlightenment, I think. But I'm also not sure.

In some ways I'm left wondering why he didn't rebel more. It still bothers me that it took Ananda to persuade the historical Buddha to let women into his group of meditators. And then...there is how homosexuals has been treated by some key Buddhist leader figures. What contracts the heart is what I believe we should rebel against.

would You imagine refusing the western conformism ....to accept Tibetan conformism of some lamas attached to their " position " .Many westerners are blind followers who trust , bow to and venerate lamas on their mere tittles without having the discriminative wisdom or the occasion to approach them and see how they live , think and act , and these followers and " practitioners " as You say have no kindness nor compassion for their fellow human beings and vajra brothers and sisters and sometimes are even limit racists : as if it was just taking to be tibetan , or to have a title to be smiled at and shown respect to !

I have never heard of a Buddhist Monk encouraging to fight more and to be more greedy..You are living on a different planet from mine. Revolution does not necessarily mean, an armed revolution..Please learn the English Language!
