*i have never understood the concept of remakes in cinema. comics yes, but film and tv?? nope. don't people understand that the properties that operate as classics only received this status because they were usually the first to pull off some narrative. be it dialogue, sfx, scene structure. so the impact of newness is what causes the effect that casts it as a **_'NEW'_** genre that hollywood then tries to clone either directly with copycats, or sprinkle bits and pieces of around a script. you'll never **_'RE-CATCH'_** that lightning in a bottle.*

@@Page-Hendryx Ummmm . . . LOL! What? You just lost me on that. What rock are you under? No, they've gotten worse and are beyond rude. They're rude, violent, disgusting thugs. You clearly must be buying some massive Leftwing LIES. Open your eyes!

Love the video it’s awesome to see how much Los Angeles has changed! From no DTLA buildings in the background and seeing how they painted the observatory. Thanks for your research and work 👍🏽

Fantastic work. Gotta say that it looked so much better in the fifties. Oh, and Natalie Wood sure had a head for heights. How far down is the other side of that wall she was standing on?

Is it though? The film showed knife fights and a fatal car stunt around a profoundly disoriented hero. I don't suggest we're living in a perfect time but 1955 surely wasn't closer to ideal.
