Shack, you realize you put those rebel veteran infantry up against anti-infantry walkers, right? that's why they were dying so quickly, those AT-PT's aren't particular strong, but they can deal serious damage to even the best infantry. Rebel veterans are great against other infantry, but like most other infantry, they aren't that great against vehicles, especially ones that are designed to fight their kind.

*faint audio only transmission comes through* this is Sargeant Scraps of wampa company, to any alliance ships in range of this transmission. We managed to patch into a secure imperial comm tower using an old republic backdoor, waddaya know it still works. After the Imperial assault those of us who missed the last transports off bothawui by choice decided to follow alliance orders and bide our time for reinforcements. But the situation grows more desperate here every day and we just can't stand by any longer. The empire has begun to round up innocent civilians and place them in internment camps, force only know what will happen to them. The filthy imps decreed that the whole planets population is full of traitors and rebel sympathizers and must be punished for their betrayal. They bombed a third of the capital city from orbit in the first few days after the retreat as an *example* to the Bothans, The civvies are wondering if help is ever coming back, it's been rough to say the least. Over the past few months we've started training the people to fight back, with hand to hand combat drills and blaster target practice. We've built up quite the little resistance cell in the mountains and valleys. Special commendation should be given to my tea... my family. We've taken a vote and we're hitting one of the detainment camps, and whats more we *will* liberate it. The people need something to hope in again. Now I know the stuffed shirts at command are probably muttering and fuming about needing to follow orders and see the bigger picture. But many Bothans have died to help us, too many. Today I strike a blow for them and for my brothers before me. I wasn't born for this war and I may be a relic from the galaxy's last war, but this time I have a choice how and where i fight. Corruption does actually provide discounts, regardless of what kind of corruption it is, and since there's no nearby planets that are owned by the Black Sun or are also corrupted, there's no real need to get rid of it. However, it does make everything build a lot more slowly, so you may want to get rid of it because of that.

The battle in the North East is finally complete, awesome. Since you are 2/3 of the way to tech level 3 it is safe to proceed with that. Hopefully with the new tech level you will get more armored land units. For the future invasion of Mandalore you will need quasar since they have a lot of naval defenses. Continue with your campaign against the Hutts. I believe Vadar is in an intersection near the Hutts, kill or capture him to drive Imp morale to the ground.

This is Commander Ray, after careful consideration I have decided too lend my aid to your cause. My fleet consists of 5 Venator class battle cruiser, clone war era but with a few upgrades, most notably mon' calamari shields and slightly upgraded firepower, and an Imperial 2 class star destroyer that we were able to capture. Each Venator has a fighter compliment of clone war era ARC-170s and V-wings, with three full compliments of Y-wings. We also have a total of 24 AT-TEs. The star destroyer has 1 compliment of tie fighters, but we usually just use them for target practice and scrap. All ships are slightly damaged from acquiring the destroyer but are overall functional. I will send rendezvous coordinates in my next message, I look forward to working with you. Ray out

*Lieutenant Commander's Journal, entry 002* It's been several months since we defected from the Empire. We're still being held in some Alliance prison though where we are is still a mystery. Surprisingly there has been few problems with our imprisonment and we're being treated fairly better than we expected. Though we're prisoners we're treated much better in captivity than the prisoners the Empire has. Either the Empire lied about the treatment of prisoners in the Alliance or we got very lucky, either way we'll count our fortune for this. I've been able to interact with the other members of my crew and we've compared notes, no surprise we're being pumped for every bit of info we can give. As of late more Alliance Intelligence officers have been paying us a visit. Torhara says they have him watching “simulations” of “theoretical” operations and asking his opinion. I've also been asked to give opinions on “simulations” as well. Just a few days ago the Intelligence Officers asked me to give my opinion on a tactical assault on Imperial Shipyards and their defenses. After reviewing it I told them it would be best to play to their strength. Look I went to the Anaxes War College to be a captain and you don't graduate among the top ten of your class being a dunce. Anyone with half a brain knows the Imperial Navy's Tie Fighters are flying glass balls accompanied to Alliance Fighters. Even with a numerical advantage an Alliance fighter can outmatch Tie Fighters five to one. Even worst (Or better in the Alliance's case) Tie Pilots are under trained while Alliance pilots are much better trained. Lets face it, as far as starfighters go the Alliance has the advantage. So when they asked for recommendations I told them to build up more fighter squadrons and Carriers. Imperial Tie Fighters can't match up and unless an Imperial Fleet has ships built for anti-fighter roles, Alliance Fighters can decimate Imperial Capitol Ships. They've taken my recommendations under consideration and I haven't heard back from them. The crew's been itching to get back into a ship and into the action against the Empire. It's the sole reason we defected so these months have had a bit of an impact on moral, though I've managed to keep things up telling them if the shoe was on the other foot they would be skeptical accepting a defector in their ranks, much less a crew. Though I will admit I'm also getting a bit anxious so I hope they clear us soon. [ Torrance's hologram pauses rub his arms] Until then we'll just have to be patient, though I do wish they would fix the cells temperature unit. It's all fine during the day but at night the temperature just drops. Other members of the crew have also expressed the same problem, so I do wonder.... Anyway I'll talk to the Alliance officers next time I meet with them and see if I can fast track our release to active duty. Though if I can get a warmer cell and something to pass the time I'll keep the complaints to a minimum. [End Journal entry]

Captain's log. Captain Ross McMahon on the frigate "Last Word". Well, it all happened so fast. None of us saw the raid coming. After hitting the Empire at Endor, and taking out the Death Star (intel on which was wrong, it WAS operational, and that cost us), they routed. That was until last week, where that blue grand admiral hit us with his massive group of ships, including a Praetor Battleship at Corulag. Although we lost even more ships, the crew is exceptionally proud to have scored the winning shots on the Grand Admiral's big toy, sent him running. And just this morning we took out the Imperial yards at Bilbringi, making sure Thrawn or whatever his name is can't replace the ships we took off him. I also got word from a friend on Home One that Coruscant's orbit is ours, and that some of our boys may even be taking holo-selfies with the Senate building. Looking forward to putting that place back to good use. But i guess that's for later. In other news, the new fighter crews we traded Eagle squadron for are working out. I hear they're veterans from all over the rebellion and the galaxy, personally i don't care, as long as they do the job, which they can. With the news of the rest of the core falling, morale is high among the crew, everyone's talking about what they're gonna do when the war is over...... so much so that I'm starting to give it thought myself.... Haven't figured it out yet, for another log maybe.... End Log.

Shack your leaving WAY too many troops ships just lying around eating up credits. You need to form up the fleets over Dothomer and the wheel and take out the Mandalor cluster. And use the fleet at Kuat to raid the imperial orbital structure in the core.

Good job, Shack. To get Luke's fleet back, you could always attack Eriadu, then take the intersections until you return to Allyuen. Pretty lightly defended. You should be able to win those battles with just fighters.

captain shack. now is the time after this episode to commence the invasion (after you defeat the hutts) on mandalore. Those mandalorians are ready to fight. They been dealing massive damage to the black sun there and have been doing gurellia fights under one mandalorian named BO katan. She recommended that you seen in special ops commandos to infiate the planet while their busy and hit a base and then fall back. Their counting on you shack. Good luck.

Hey shack, loving the channel and these videos really great stuff. My piece of advice for you would be to try and take Sullust away from the empire. Id do it by trying your hand at the planetary raids so you can pop the space defenses without much trouble. Then mostly try and keep it defended in space as you can build some pretty good ships there including the Dauntless class cruisers, which are basically like the MC80's and will give you a shipyard to support both better. Also it wouldn't hurt in investing on more ground buildings especially mines wherever you can build them.

shack, i highly recommend using infiltrator squads on enemy ground forces. They are highly effective and stealthy, making raids possible, and can capture a planet without the need of Space Battles. This is a true rebel tactic, as it weakens the enemy space force and makes for easier ground assaults if you cannot capture the planet with just the infiltrators.

Captain I must urge you to strike mandalore. It has little more than a station and a couple of defense platforms. With the advent of the star destroyer for the dathomire fleet our estimates show a smooth victory. I urge you to take advantage befor they reinforce themselves. Rebel intelligence out.

The best decision for Luke's fleet is to send them back to sullust and deal with the Empire. Also it would be a good idea to make more Quesars to do more raids on ISD's. Also use the Mandator over Kuat, keep it near Kuat but start using it, especially with that ISD. Love the series.

Shack, You can move between Sluis Van and Mustafar. It doesn't list a hyperspace route there, but you can move between the two. So your fleet isn't stuck there. There is a couple places in the galaxy like that.

To answer your question, yes, the Empire has LOTS of capital shipyard planets. Bilbringi, Corellia (kinda), Rendilli, and Sullust. Boarding isn't in this mod, Shack. That's the new version of Thrawn's Revenge, although it's a bit janky in some ways there.

Commando strike teams are pretty OP, if you use bacta and sensors correctly. I suggest you resuce han, chewie, and katarn with a commando group headed by leia. Then created a stealthy doom stack with those heros and special forces.

believe it or not Shack during World War II when torpedo bombers were making their runs on battleships the ships would use their main cannons to help shoot them down. They would fire salvos right in front of the approaching planes sending up huge columns of water. The planes couldn't fly into those without crashing so they would have to go around or break off their attack and fly right over the ship.

hey shack just finished the video and that is really unfortunate, but not unfixable, the way i see it you have two options, either continue to clean up the northern sector taking mandalore and neutering the black suns until you decide to take the last of the outer rim and get back han and chewie. that or you can accelerate your taking of the outer rim territories leaving the mandalore sector for last. I can see the benefits of both, taking mandalore would allow you to have fewer lanes of attack against you, and at the same time allow you to commit more forces both ground and space to taking the outer rim, the drawbacks to that plan is you risk losing the outer rim territories, though to be fair it would be difficult to defend with just the quasars and if they go down fighting a losing battle then the investment is lost, but if you can add them to your fleets up north they would be extremely powerful when combined with capital ships. the drawback to going to the outer rim first is that you leave a well defended pocket in the northern territories that could lash out with no warning, this forces many resources to be kept there if you dont want to risk losing space and ground of some planets, though losing anything for long is unlikely due to your presence there. ultimately up to you Captain, good luck

Salutes Captain, though I'm no battle hardend veteran I fought at the impressivly effective raid on the Sullustan Shipyard under command of general Skywalker. Or tactical retreat may have gone wrong jumping to Sluis Van but I assure you the moral among us is high and we're eager to strike again. I suggest to strike at Sulust over and over again until their defences either retreat or be destroyed. This might bring the Sullustans to yoin our cause. Hey Captain Shack, This is intelligence Officer ####### code name "Ironwar". I'm sending this coded transmutation to you due to the high value of this information I have gathered that has put the planet i'm on "Sullust" under Marshal law to the point that going outside has already seen hundred dead, but it was worth it due to the fact that it will help us gain access to the MC80 "wing" class Capital ship. I have found out that the plans needed to build those ships as well as for the Quasar and Dauntless have been stolen and are being reverse engineer by the Empire. When you toke out the space forces out the last time you passed though here I manged to send the plans of the Quasar and Dauntless but by the time I got the MC80 plans you had left the system. I tired to send the plans when command Skywalker task force destroyed the ship yards and stole a ISD but I wasn't able to get his comm Chanel in time before he finished his raid and I was found out by Imperial agents. The only way I can now get these plans back to Mon Calamari is to take AND hold the planet. I lost the plans when they found me and I had to leave them be hide as i escaped. They have locked them down that the only way to get them back now is the take they system and hold it long enough to decode the new inception on the plans. I'll try and see if I can rally and arm the people of this world for the time we do move to take this planet. Till then Ironwar out.

Shack I would highly recommend that you use the Kuat defense fleet for a raid on Rendeli to destroy the capital shipyard. It is another capital ship producing planet. If the empire lost that there is only Corellea that would have a capital shipyard in Imperial hands; slowing production of ISDs.

Just so you know Shack, in case you need a good, fast, anti-fighter ship, then the Corellian corvettes you're using aren't what you need. Get the Corellian gunships, they are actually dedicated to that purpose. Also, the Empire's Carrack Cruisers are not anti-fighter, they actually suck against fighters, so don't worry too much about those. I've seen you pull fighters out of combat because of those things before, when there was no reason to worry.

Good ser, I recommend further fortifying Allyuen by building more Quaiers at Mustafar. Not only would this improve your defences, but also when you rejoin forces with Luke's battle group you will have a sizeable fighter fleet. Goose out.

hey shack, always love your videos I have watched all these big empire at war series and loved every one of them. just one suggestion could u edit down the ground battles some unless they are really interesting because as u have started getting more into this campaine more than half of each episodes have been ground battles. Also take the wheel fleet and the imperial star destroyer fleet and attack mandalor. Also if u scout mandalor and u need it add the super star destroyer to that fleet just for the attack then put it back at kaut. as always love your videos and may the force be with you. ps. #Clone Wars Saved

I suggest taking Eriadu and Sullest. Because then, you could protect the bottom left through Eriadu and Allyuen only, and you'd gain Sullest as another Capital Shipyard.

this message is to captain shack of the Liberation. This is lieutenant Ballard of Jade squadron reporting. were currently aboard the Quasar carrier "new fire", piloting a wing of those rickety clone era Y-wings .we recently were given orders to preform a raid on the imperial world "Sullest" . Our squad was tasked to cripple a capital shipyard, while our escort of X-wings engagged several of the ISDs defending the platform. Among those star destroyers, was the dreaded ISD "Adamant". I had personal vendetta against that ship after it preformed a Base Delta Zero on my home world of Allyuen. During the engagement, the "Adamant" followed us into an asteroid belt. The resulting skirmish took the life of one of my best wing men, but he didn't go out without a fight. In a commendable last ditch effort, the crazed SOB was able to bring down that damned battle ship by ramming his crippled fighter, still equipped with full ordinance, straight into the connecting super structure. tore the bridge right off the body. id like to see them try to piece that thing back together after that. we aint coming home empty handed though. thanks to that up-and-coming farm boy from tattoine, we were able to board one of the ISDs, and do a emergency jump to telos. thing is still intact too! im telling you, that young farmer is either mad, lucky, or got some powers beyond my comprehension. the ISD should be refitted with a proper fighter wing as soon as it gets there. now, regarding the refit: we were wondering if we could possibly "requisition" some new bombers for Jade squadron. These old Y-wings do get the job done, but their slow, and were struggling to keep these old scrapheaps flight worthy. parts are starting to wear out, and our guidance computers work less than half the time, so we have to dumb fire those proton torpedoes and line the shot up ourselves. doing that leaves us vulnerable to trubolaser fire, and believe it or not, some of those imperials actually can hit a target. once in a while. I hear those B-wings that Admiral Akbar is testing out seem to really pack a punch, and I can assure you that our boys would put those things to good use. besides over all reliability, they use those new mark 5 torpedoes, which can frag an entire turbo battery in one pass. if you could talk the higher ups into hooking us up with a few of those fancy new bombers, the squad promised that the next imperial freight of coffee we find will be directed to your ships cargo bay. until next time, this is lieutenant Ballard of jade squadron, out.

Given the success of the recent raid led by general skywalker I humbly submit plans for 'Operation Wolfpack' I have a whole bunch of flyboys just itchin to stick it to the empire and pirates commander, If the rebel alliance can supply us with enough munitions fighters and astromechs we can form a fighter fleet for hounding stations and capital ships in hit and runs. We aint asking for fancy capital ships - just fighters/bombers with hyperdrives. Hell most of these guys and gals are cropdusters, taxi pilots and independent traders and such. If rebel command could see their way to supplying us we will stick a proton torpedo or 2 right where the emperors sun dont shine. Regarding General skywalkers force: hit and run sir, hit and run.

The Alliance is known for their superior fighters, so lets use them: I suggest creating a fighter force that can perform deep strikes on Imperial shipyards throughout the Empire. You won't have to worry about ISD's coming in as much, and it will be a drag on their economy as they keep rebuilding what they've lost. Rogue Squadron should lead the raiding force. For the Rebellion.

Shack, you need to invest in Quasars. Your fighters can easily overwhelm Imperial ships but against the Black Sun youll need some serious fighter support to stop their swarm. All of their main ships of the lines have massive hangers of fairly strong fighters. Providences, Venators and Lucrehulks. If you dont have some support carriers youll be in for a bad time.

The reason everything at Kessel was discounted was because it was corrupted. There is that one advantage to keeping your planets corrupted, but it also slows build times for everything, on top of the other negatives.

You should build build an Ion Cannon on Kuat. It would help with defensive combats against the empire. And just wait for Sluis to get attack, then Retreat. It'll pull Lukes fleet to the nearest friendly planet, which I think should be Mustafar.

hey shack, the rebel infantry is really good against other infantry, what you have seen them fighting has been anti infantry and naturally they wont be as good. they dont recieve higher health but they do have increased accuracy
