Rachel is one of the Deadly Sins, shes the most powerful one out of all of them. They never mention her being a demon of sin in the show for some stupid reasons. Kinda like how they never called Slade Deathstroke because it had the word "death" in it. Also, not related but it is pretty damn dark, Jericho Wilson, the reason why he cant talk is because his neck was slit by a knife and since then he was never been able to talk. The reason why Deathstroke antagonized the Titans in the first place was because his first son died, his son was a Teen Titan so he held the Titans responsible for his death and believes that kids shouldnt be playing hero. Then his daughter became a Teen Titan known as Ravager

With regards to Mephisto, uh, if I remember correctly, that's actually a mythology reference. Also, none of these "obviously The Devil" looking characters actually look like what the actual Devil would look like. (He'd more likely show up looking like a being of light for the sake of deceiving people, and he is described as having a beautiful appearance. Of course, his pride from this is what leads to his fall.)

Yeah, the devil is actually meant to be portrayed as an angel who was beloved and given light to hold and was given the role as a lead musician....which made him prideful and thus lead to him trying to take control and being cast out in a lot of versions of his story. Though most religions have thier own depiction of the ultimate evil too. Buddhism has Mara, and while there are certainly parallels in how Mara does things I think Mara is depicted either as just a full-on shape-shifting demon or an unknown where all humans know about them is the sound of their deceptive voice.
