Firstly we are all muslims elhamdulilah however we believe Ali is the successor because Allah chose him not the people who chose abu bakr as the successor. Islam is not a democracy or a political party, we worship Allah and only Allah chooses the successor before birth. We respect Abu bakr however he has worship idol for 40 years before converting to Islam. Allah said the one who will be the successor shall have worshiped me from the very beginning. May Allah guid out sunni brothers inshallah.

Jazakum Allahu Khairan Katheeran. "...Wa Aliyun Maula." Ali Ibn Abu Talib AS was the only legitimate and Rightful Successor as designated by the Messenger of Allah himself SAS. Some of the most meritorious, indisputably prominent and distinguished characteristics and status of Ali AS over and above ALL the other Sahabas can be highlighted as follows: 1. Ali AS was brought up in the household of the Prophet SAS from the tender age of 10 when the Prophet SAS was then 30 years old, 10 years before Revelation and never worshipped idols, unlike the rest of the Sahabas. 2. Dawatul Ashira - 609 when Ali AS was the first male at 23 years old who openly declared acceptance of Islam directly to Prophet SAS, while the other paternal blood relatives declined. Refer to 26:214. The Prophet SAS then referred to him as "Akhi", "Wasi" and "Khalifa". 3. Lailat Mabit - 622 when Ali AS readily and happily risked his life for the Prophet SAS by agreeing to sleep in his SAS's bed for the Hijrah, at the assasination plot to kill the Prophet SAS by the tribesmen. Refer to 2:207. 4. On the Hijrah from Makkah to Madinah, the Prophet SAS left Ali AS in charge of executing the Amana by returning the valuable possessions of some Makkans kept with the Prophet SAS back to the people as a Sacred Trust. 5. The Prophet SAS then gave Ali AS another Sacred Trust to take the three Fatimas - Fatima Zahara AS, his own mother Fatima and Fatima, daughter of Hamza safely to join the Prophet SAS in Madinah and single-handedly valiantly fought off attackers on the journey. 6. A few months upon arrival in Madinah, the Prophet SAS ordered the Muhajireen to each choose an Ansar as his brother to cement brotherhood, but he SAS did not request Ali AS to do so. Neither did the Prophet SAS himself do likewise. Instead, he SAS held Ali AS's hand and declared him as his SAS brother to affirm their special and unique relationship in this world and the Hereafter. Refer to 59:9. 7. Marriage to Fatima AS - 624 when Ali AS was choosen to marry the daughter of the Prophet SAS, while Abu Bakr and Umar RA were refused. Ali AS was the paternal cousin of the Prophet SAS, son-in-law and closest confidante and their house was the only door left open to Masjid Nabawi when all others were ordered closed. 8. Battle of Badr - 624 when Ali AS put down more of the enemies than any other from among the 313 ill equipped Muslims against some 1,000 strong and better equipped enemies of Makkah. 9. Battle of Khaibar - 629 when Ali AS brought an astounding victory to the Prophet SAS. After Abu Bakr and Umar RA failed to do so before him on two separate attempts, the Prophet SAS made an amazing statement: "Tomorrow Allah will send a man who loves Allah and His Prophet and Allah and His Prophet love him too. He will deliver Khaibar to me." 10. Battle of Hunain - 630 when the army of 12,000 fled the arrows in the valley by the Hawazin and Thaqif of 24,000 strong against the Prophet SAS, while only 8 distinguished Companions remained with the Prophet SAS, not including neither Abu Bakr, Umar nor Uthman RA. Ali AS brought final victory to him SAS at Hunain. 11. Ghazwat Tabuk - 630 when the Prophet SAS left Ali AS in charge of Madinah and likened him to himself SAS as Aron was to Moses AS as Nabi and Successor. Refer to 13:7. 12. Ghadeer Khumm - 632 on the 18th of Zul Hijjah after the Farewell Hajj, when the Prophet SAS explicitly and publicly declared Ali AS his SAS's Successor and those present openly congratulated him, including Abu Bakr and Umar RA. 13. Mubahala - 632 when the Prophet SAS entered into Divine Curse with the Christians of Najran to prove the Truth. The Prophet SAS took along with himself only Ali, Fatima, Hasan and Husain AS as his family to confront the Christians. Refer 3:61. 14. Kisa - 632 when the Prophet SAS took only Ali, Fatima, Hasan and Husain AS under his cloak at the Revelation of Ayat Tathir, 33:33, as the only members of Ahlul Bait. He excluded others even though it happened in the house of Umm Salama RA who expressly requested to be included. 15. This highlights the superiority of Ali AS over all the other Sahabas, when the Prophet SAS declared: "I am the City of Knowledge and Ali is the Gate." 16. Consider why the Prophet SAS, at his death bed, when he SAS ordered everyone, including Abu Bakr and Umar RA who refused to join Usama bin Zaid's Army against the Romans but particularly insisted that only Ali Ibn Abu Talib AS alone should remain with him SAS in Madinah.

Muslims ask Allah at least ten times a day in their daily prayers/namaz/salat, "guide us to the straight path. The path of those upon whom You have showered Your blessings; not of those upon whom You sent Your wrath and gone astray" In the same namaz/salat, Muslims ask Allah. "O Allah, send blessings, mercy and grace upon Muhammad and the progeny of Muhammad" Have Muslims ever paused for a moment and asked themselves if who the progeny of their Prophet is upon whom Muslims are obligated to send blessings upon in their daily prayers? What are their names? What is their status in the light of the holy Qur'an and the hadith of the holy Prophet? What are their contributions in Islam? Their knowledge, wisdom, sacrifices, etc? Muslims need to study the biographies of personalities like the holy Prophet Muhammad, his beloved daughter Fatima, her husband Ali and their sons Hasan and Husain (peace and blessings of Allah be upon them all). They also need to look into the history of Islam (not of the Muslims). Muslims need to carry out their own independent, academic and unbiased research on the following events:- Da'wat-e-Zul Ashirah Mubahila The event of Ghadir-e-Khum Saqifa Fadak The battle of Jamal The battle of Siffeen The death of Abuzar Ghaffari The death of Muhammad bin Abi Bakr The death of Malik bin Noweira Ashura The truth of the matter is that the vast majority of Muslims are victims of prejudice, brainwashing, ignorance, misconceptions and misinformation when it comes to the school of the ahlulbayt. I do however prefer the Shi'a narrative regarding Aisha and Muhammad's poisoning and wanted to see the recent movie I think it was called Lady of Heaven but the Sunni brigade put a swift end to that, no cinema screened it. Don't try to make it a railway journey in which all bogies have to run on the same track. Taqleed always kills human intellect as has happened to the stories which could have been far more appealing.

Advice to you, my beloved brother, Islam is the Qur’an, the Messenger Muhammad, his Sunnah and laws, and this is the tree of Islam. Ali is only the Caliph and the husband of the Prophet’s daughter and the father of Hassan and Hussein and the Shiites believe in Ali and his sons and they are branches of the tree, not the tree itself, which is the Qur’an and the Messenger Muhammad, as I said before that, read about the Sunnah and know the difference. We all worship God and His book is the Qur’an that God revealed to the Messenger Muhammad, and he is the one who taught us as he taught Ali and his sons how to pray and perform ablution, so do not leave the tree and hold on to the branch. This is my advice to you and may God accept you.

Please study the following statement very carefully and ponder over the points discussed. The daughter of Abu Bakr, the wife of the holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his holy progeny), the mother of the believers, Ayesha (may Allah be pleased with her??), waged a war against the sahabi, cousin and the son-in-law of the holy Prophet, a member of holy ahlulbayt and the rightful caliph of her time, hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). Many were killed and many were injured in this battle. The holy Prophet had warned his wives against this battle. The name of this battle is the "Battle of Jamal" The son of Abu Sufyan and Hind, the father of Yazid, Mu'awiyyah (may Allah be pleased with him??) waged a war against the sahabi, cousin and the son-in-law of the holy Prophet, a member of holy ahlulbayt and the rightful caliph of his time, hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). A highly respectable sahabi of the holy Prophet, Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with) was martyred by Mu'awiyyah (may Allah be pleased with him??) in this battle. The holy Prophet had informed Ammar that he would be killed by a gang of traitors. The name of this battle is the Battle of Siffeen. As a free thinking Muslim, I am sure that it is my right to analyse such episodes and search for some concrete explanation, such as:- 1. How on earth can Allah be ever pleased with the oppressed and the oppressors at the same time? How can they all be equal in the eyes of Allah? If this is not a mockery of religion then what else is it? 2, Can a sahabi of the holy Prophet be a warmonger, an oppressor, an unjust and a bloodthirsty? 3. Can a warmonger, an evildoer, an unjust and a bloodthirsty be a sahabi of the holy Prophet? 4. What is the definition of a sahabi? 5. If you were present at the time, whose side would you have taken and on what grounds? 6. Who are the martyrs and who are the traitors in these two battles? 7. Did Ayesha, Mu'awiyyah and their followers accept hazrat Ali (a s) as the rightful caliph of their time? 8. What is the punishment for rebelling against the caliph of the time? 9. Who was right and who was wrong in these battles? They both can be wrong. One can be right and one can be wrong but they both cannot be right. 10. Did Ayesha, Mu'awiyyah and their followers pray namaz/salat? In their salat, did they send blessings upon their holy Prophet and his holy progeny? What kind of beings were they who sent blessings upon their Prophet and his family and at the same waged wars against them, oppressed them and spilled their blood. 11. We are told not to speak against the wives of the holy Prophet or his sahabas regardless of their warmongering, oppression, injustice and bloodshed. The SON of Prophet Nuh (a.s.) could not escape from the wrath of Allah. Allah has cursed and thrown the WIVES of Prophets Nuh and Lut (peace be upon them both) into the hellfire because of their corruption. Allah has cursed Abu Lahab, the UNCLE of the holy Prophet by his name in the holy Qur'an. What makes Muslims think that the wives and the sahabas of the holy Prophet can get away with corruptions, warmongering, injustice and bloodshed? Please read the first twelve verses of Surah Tahreem. 12. What would one say about someone who is drenched in the blood of your own Prophet's family member? 13. How can beings who are soaked in innocent blood be a source of guidance, knowledge and information about Islam? 14. What kind of Islam (if that is Islam) can be expected of such beings? 15. What kind of role models, examples and ideals are such beings for the Muslim ummah? 16. What kind of role model is Ayesha for the Muslim women? 17. We are told that the wives of the holy Prophet are included amongst the ahlulbayt referred to in Surah Ahzab verse 33. This can never be true for the following reasons. a. how can someone who is drenched in the blood of the holy Prophet's own family member be also a part of his family? b. none of the wives of the holy Prophet claimed to be amongst the ahlulbayt referred to in surah 33 verse 33. 18. Muslims claim to love the ahlulbayt (family) of the holy Prophet and at the same time they love, respect, honour and revere their enemies. They take them as their leaders, guide, source of knowledge, and information about Islam. If this is not a top class hypocrisy then what else is it? Where does their loyalty lie? The truth of the matter is that the vast majority of Muslims are victims of prejudice, brainwashing, ignorance, misconceptions and misinformation when it comes to the school of the ahlulbayt. Muslims need to wake up from their deep slumber and start doing their own academic, independent and unbiased research. Shia is only obsessed with the Ahlylbayt, Karbala, Imam Ali RA and Imam Husayn RA, and Ashura. Nothing is left for Allah. We muslims (sunni) worship only Allah and we almost never mention any sahabah but only the prophet (pbuh)and Allah. What if you lived in the time of Abrahim (as), Isa (as) or moses (as), you would only mention Allah right? Convert to the true religion (sunni) inshallah and take your shahadah.
