I just tried this for the 1st time. Haven't done over 10 minutes until today. I love it! Got partway through it and was sure I wouldn't be able to finish, but then I reached 3 minutes left - and decided that Yes, I could! I'm still having a bit of a challenge with balance, but did about half of this one without touching the bar, so that's a huge improvement. Thank you, Nikki!

Great suggestion! I do walk a bit of a fine line because some people prefer little to no talk. I have some workouts where I talk A LOT and some where I talk very little to try and give variety. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!

Solved. You instruct and people who don't want talk can put on their own music and turn the video doen

Did Feet on the mat this morning and really felt in my calves. Ordered a balance bar for my 40" Leaps and Bounds this morning on Amazon and was surprised they had a used one for under 30.00 and I am so excited . Won't have it until the 5th. For now I use my flat weight bend standing upright as not comfortable with my balance yet. Looking forward to seeing some improvement in Stability, Mobility, Balance, Strengjt and Toning. I love you and grandma' videos as really helps. I have been doing beachbody workouts but felt I needed something a little different and I like the fact that you can add resistance when you are ready. I know I am 72 but I want the confidence you have in my movements. Not sure how long it will take to get more confident in my balance or if I should just do one particular workout for a few weeks or switch around. I have been doing a few of the beginners/seniors workouts ranging 5-10 minutes so today's was a little more challenging at 15 minutes.🙂🙃😉

Hi there! Those are Kdeer leggings. Sadly, they just announced they are closing after 12 years due to supply chain issues because of Covid. You MIGHT be able to still snag a pair but I'd hurry!

@@EarthOwl Thanks for sharing that with me. Looks like they’re sold out of the leggings, but I think I see a pair of capris in that pattern. :)

Would you consider this activity level the same as walking or more intense?
@EarthOwl2 жыл бұрын
Hmmmm...a lot of variables there. Probably less intense than walking at an incline. The arm movements in this could get you a higher heart rate. More muscle groups used here. I know that doesn't actually answer your question! I like this for ease on the joints and still an excellent workout.

Hello! I just found you and was wondering if you could recommend a rebounder with the bar.. thank you💜

Sure! I recommend two rebounders. The jumpsport 350PRO with the quick release handlebar or the Leaps and Rebounds trampoline. I do have a discount code for Leaps and Rebounds. It's Nikki10. If you go to my website and click "shop" there are some links! www.earthandowl.com Thanks!

@@EarthOwl thank you I will join as soon as I get the okay from my Dr. I had a guy fall asleep at the wheel and hit my car a couple days ago. I have been wanting to get a rebounder for yrs for lymphatic drainage. I am 140lbs and 65 do you recommend the 40” or 48? I would like to get the jump sport as the reviews said it’s much better but my budget at this time I will have to go with the leaps and bounds till I can get the best one.. once again thank you dear💜

@@mickiking306 Personally I like the 40 inch. A little easier to store and transport. 🙂 Hope you get the thumbs up from your doc!

Do I really need one of those balance bars if I am a senior with good balance?

Not necessarily. I have plenty of senior participants without them. I usually recommend it just in case, but you know yourself best.

@@EarthOwl One more question. I weigh 160 lbs. and am 74 years old. Should I get the Medium or Strong bungees? Thank you!
@EarthOwl Жыл бұрын
@@tiffsaver I’m a Jumpsport retailer and the bungees are adjustable so you can change the tension. Are you purchasing a Bellicon? I think they have something on their website that helps you decide bungee strength.
@tiffsaver Жыл бұрын
@@EarthOwl Yes they do, but I'd rather get it from someone like you. I can't make up my mind to get either the Med. or Strong because there are so many different theories on the subject!
@EarthOwl Жыл бұрын
@@tiffsaver If you go with the Jumpsport, the bungees are adjustable so if you don’t like soft you can make it more firm and vice versa. I like my 350Pro and it is what my grandma Helen uses (age 88). If you want more room you could bump to the 570Pro.
