losi LST2 XXL Gas rig actually blew up... literally! It was their first production run of it.. and it had a bad carb - and leaned itself out so much, so quickly.. the piston melted.. and shattered. Ugh.. I was done with that rig.

Everett's Kraken RC tsk is the first Class 1 kit Kraken brought out not the tsk-b as you showed on DDM's site I don't think you can get the tsk anymore, Everett's fits the 5T & SC, you can fit it to the 5B but you have to buy all the body mounting parts for the conversion to take a 5B to the 5T/SC, where as the one you showed is for the 5B, you can fit it on the 5T/SC but you will need to remove all the truck body mounting parts. I found the Kraken chassis was very good but needs to have a thicker lip along the top edges where the tank and radio box fit it flex's along there, I always bolt the tank to the chassis to stop flex as you needed to for the stock HPI chassis and do not use the radio box, I use the Team Fast Eddy battery box eliminator servo mounts one for the steering and one for the throttle/brake and the Associated receiver box and a carbon fibre battery tray. HPI bought the rights to the Kraken-RC SX5 Sandrail and the tsk-b Class 1 buggy and sell them as RTR on the 5B 2.0 Baja chassis, at the moment you can get the tsk-b from Kraken DDM and any shops with stock, but I think when stock's are gone that is it, so anyone who wants the tsk-b best search out one.I have both and the tsk-b is the nicer looking of the two but the tsk is the stronger of them.

Yeah, TSK-1 is no longer produced and has been discontinued on DDMs site. I believe the panels are still available until stock runs out. TSK-1 actually got discontinued around the same time the Kraken launched.

Video in my channel :P - This particular version of the cage has been discontinued though and the cage you showed on DDM is completely different, after 4 weeks of searching I finally managed to track down the same cage Everett is using and it may very well be one of the last and newest cages in the world.

great looking baja, i own a 5b with few mods. ditched pullstart because had many problems with them (i ride in sand) and purchased a killer rc drill start and love it

EV TEK you mean turtle pull start? i was going buy it but some people had problems with it and it was way more expensive than the drill start system. only negative thing is carrying the drill

Yes. It's not perfect though. I didn't like it at first at all. But after the bearing cogs and graphite lube every outing it's never failed me since. I don't put it on my race rigs though as it's heavy.

What is your favorite toughest 1/10th Axle ?? I have a Traxxas T-Maxx w/electric conversion and what is the biggest 550 size can brushless motor for trailing and light bashing using 3.8 40 series boggers. My only surviving Son gave me his old T-Maxx that was pretty much wore out but it means the world to me .

i had so many problems with my turtle racing pull start. i hate that thing so much. my friend got the same one and his is constantly jamming up too. they are so bad. i went back to the stock pull start and have very minimal issues now.

So i can buy that krakencage and mount that straight on the baja 5B, SS, Sc etc. ? Im new to 1/5 scale but i want to buy the Carson Wild GP Attack.
